umm no but chocolate and junk food sure as shit isn't helping. 7g of fat a bar... replace that with a banana, yeah, that's going to help get people thinner. less people eat less fatty foods guess what happens less fat people 1+1
um no if you're getting less of something that would be 1-1 duh
Dude, it's called cause and effect. If more people get less candy to eat all the time to begin with, then less issues as a result. End of discussion. maybe so, but it helps with less fat/calories per bar
Chances are they're going to want two instead.

It's not the quantity of candy that's the problem, it's people's decision making processes.

Air!
i've always seen what a fucking sham that is, but it's marketed well enough that most people probably don't realize that it's yet another way that the companies are making people get less for their money
umm no but chocolate and junk food sure as shit isn't helping. 7g of fat a bar... replace that with a banana, yeah, that's going to help get people thinner. less people eat less fatty foods guess what happens less fat people 1+1
cacao =/= sugar actual cacao is good for you in reasonable amounts think of it as black coffee: it's actually somewhat decent for you, but the taste is much more strong
Good. People wonder why health issues are so common too. Hopefully bananas and shit go on surplus and the sales of those skyrocket. Chocolate is nice but the better energy boost received from fruit is far more satisfying. that being said if coffee is affected I'm going to kill everyone in FP and steal their coffee.
yeah, I definitely eat chocolate for the energy boost what are we, 12?
Eventually foods will be microscopic.
Oh, so that's why wagon wheels are fucking tiny now, and freddo's too :(
I remember Freddo's being 10p! :(
more people exercise guess what happens less fat people 1+1
Fixed that for ya bud.
I remember Freddo's being 10p! :(
At least the chocolate rations went up.
I thought they were getting more expensive. They're like £1 minimum here unless you go to tescos. I remember paying like 40p back in the day
Everything has been getting smaller with food, bags of chips aren't what they used to be. Shame chocolate bars will never be at proper size instead of being the smallest they can be
umm no but chocolate and junk food sure as shit isn't helping. 7g of fat a bar... replace that with a banana, yeah, that's going to help get people thinner. less people eat less fatty foods guess what happens less fat people 1+1
You have obviously been mind-controlled.
Good thing I don't eat them anymore. Too darn sweet most of the time.
Fun fact. I did food technology and manufacturing studies. We can't actually work out how much energy is actually in food so we mostly put bullshit on packets.
TBH I don't mind. It makes it easier not to go overboard with calories.
Can't wait till water is so expensive that we have to choose between drinking it or buying fuel so it's easier to be more responsible about it.
yeah, I definitely eat chocolate for the energy boost what are we, 12?
I do it in the breaks between lectures, stops me falling asleep :v:
I, like many other British people use the Freddo bar as an accurate measure of the state of our economy. They're more inflation prone than the euro for fucks sake.

I find Freddo's to be one a the few things that actually stay of a reasonable price in the country. Hell in this year alone bread has gone up 15-20 pence.
making a good harder to get doesn't help
I agree. A while ago, some stupid legislation was put into use here that made the cigarette-buying things lose the pictures of the product and they were replaced with numbers only. You have to ask the cashier what number the cigarette you want is. And you had to use the real, exact name of the cigarette, not the common nickname some of them seemed to have. This was probably added to make the legislation even more stupid, I really can't figure out any other reasons for it. Now I don't smoke myself but this clogged up the lines in grocery stores for the first month almost tripling the time it usually took me to go in, buy stuff, get out.
Good. People wonder why health issues are so common too. Hopefully bananas and shit go on surplus and the sales of those skyrocket. i'm partial to a snickers inbetween writing concept albums and i have to say this is a fucking disgrace, they're so tiny i can't even dunk them to the bottom of my tea anymore. on the plus side it's going to anger dave gilmour so i guess i can kind of get behind that
Not that keen on Chocolate that much but it still sucks this is happening. It was inevitable it'd affect choc bars seeing what's happened to Freddo's over the years I'm partial to the odd Double Decker now and then though, mmmmmmmmmm...
In my city some chips bags are more expensive than some particular chocolate bars, that's bullshit.
This is really obvious with crisps. I wouldn't be surprised if they just sold empty packets in the next few years.
