Armored UN trucks seen in America: conspiracy theorists flip out; actual reason is dull, obvious
Nah, just the average Coast-to-Coast AM caller grasping at straws to support their crazy conspiracy theories. See stuff like that all the time, once saw someone post pictures of military vehicles (Bradleys in this case) moving near Chicago via rail (We move hardware by rail all the time, it's cheap) and people jumped to the conclusion the military was going to declare martial law in Chicago. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

Fuck sake, if you're gonna go off on one in full conspiracy mode, the least you can do is fucking spell it right.
I still remember seeing a train load of M1A1's, Humvees, and other misc equipment when I was a kid and the rollup to Iraq War was just around the corner. Now those were some scary goddamned times, especially when the armory I lived next to was completely emptied of military vehicles.
[sp]I should note that this was in Colorado at the time, and for us to see our military kit being shipped out, you knew bad things were going to happen.[/sp]
I can't imagine what this guy would think if he actually lived near anywhere they move military equipment around frequently, he'd have a stroke.
I see military stuff driving up and down the highway all the time because there's a few military bases and armories around my area, it's ridiculous to think that trucks on a train are a lead up to war. He would probably be shitting his pants to live in Dayton where the air force is flying jets and cargo planes overhead every twenty minutes or so.
Yes, a couple dozen UN trucks are totally capable of enforcing martial law in the US.
If your conspiracy theory can be debunked by common sense, you probably aren't the brightest bulb in the chandelier.
I remember some conspiracy theory about how a loose piece of insulation on a Soyuz was an alien craft docked with the ISS, even though to do so in the manner described would have ruptured the pressure hull and the capsule in question is on display and you can see there is no hatch on the craft where the alien ship supposedly docked, and there are plenty of documented cases where the insulation on the Soyuz came loose during flight
There's a joke I'm trying to formulate about the strongest weapon against the UN being a letter-opener or something like that but it's not coming together.
All these middle eastern proxy wars and east europe war games, and people only focus on the nutty theories like militarily oppressing an extremely well armed nation that is already allowing said nation to do what it wants
You've got to pick your tinfoil more carefully than that
There's a big military base to the north of me(lewis-mcchord) and the international airport to the south of me is used as an airbase, and then there's the armory in town. I see convoys of army trucks, both humvees and cargo haulers on the freeway at least once a month.

The greatest weapon we have against the UN is the highly advanced tactical 'return to sender' stamp.

or the USPS given what I've heard about it at times...
Americans are so unfamiliar with domestic manufacturing and exports that we literally get spooked by the sight of it.
Imagine if they knew what was shipped via rail through their city
They're were in storage and are being shipped. I see my local Army Reserve hauling HMMWVs up on trailers every 3 months. These type of people are dumb. The cheapest and safest way to move vehicles is by semi or train. You can haul more of them with less man power.
This guy is fucking nuts.
who does he expect them to fight
