[editline]23rd April 2013[/editline] Technically, he didn't apologize for it, but to re-edit the third act.
The only movies I liked that he made were the Rock, Transformers 1, and Armageddon
Same, and I'd add The Island to that list. I know people gave that movie a lot of flak, but I thought it was great.
What does he mean? Armageddon was pretty good, the movie wasn't a remake or based off some other shit. And the idea behind it was cool. A big ass asteroid headed towards earth about to kill all life so they send a bunch of rednecks up to blow it to pieces with a nuke.
It is a bad film, but every time it comes on the telly I can't help but sit and watch it.
Of all movies he's apologizing for Armageddon? That was arguably his best movie. If they gave him more time, he would've just raped it with special effects like all his other stuff. If Armageddon is what happens when you give Bay just four months to shoot a movie, then I guess Hollywood now knows what to do.
