• 'Bomb' written on drink can aborts flight

To anyone thinking they were concerned the can was a bomb, I'm fairly sure they were concerned there was a terrorist on board threatening the use of a bomb located somewhere else (not that the can itself was the bomb).

I thought they didn't allow any outside liquid aboard the plane?
Though it seems to be working- I haven't heard of any terrorist plane bombings in a while in the US flights. As long as at the end of the day it gets the job done. I'd rather have a delayed flight than an emergency landing at top speeds halfway through.
-snip- never mind, someone said it already.
What kind of terrorist would go to the trouble of concealing a bomb in a can only to write BOMB on it? Might as well take a stick of fucking dynamite.
That's actually a pretty good reverse logic, identify something as a clear threat so that everyone will think it's a joke and ignore it, except in this case they didn't.
This idea totally won't bomb at all. [editline]24th May 2012[/editline]
I wonder when these guys will mistake oxygen for bombs.
You can't spell Fuel-Air bomb without Air.
Spraypaint "TERRORISTS" onto side of 737 and make it so it takes off at night and nobody can read it. It won't arrive to it's destination, it gonna get shot down.

So writing "BOMB" on it is useless and pretty risky. I mean, with a normal drink you won't have any problem anyway, so why take this risk?
