Even though the majority of terrorist attacks are committed by people from countries that are in some way occupied by the US, you're still saying the US should still be screwing around in the Middle-East?

Leaving abruptly wouldn't leave the greatest impression on the people you're trying to help. Pretty much anyone that helped America during their time there would be fair game. Pakistan has been blowing themselves up just fine without American occupation.

Because the US was supporting despotic regimes, albeit the terrorists would have set up equally as despotic regimes.
