I like Australians, they are one of the other few nationality's that don't get offend when I talk like an West Irish person. That includes liberal use of cunt, fuck and gobshite.

The article itself is kinda confusing, I don't know much about the wildlife situation in Australia, from what I've read they are listed as Vulnerable on the conservation index so yes something can be done to improve that in less populated areas. But at the same time from the figures this article gives and the sheer size of the country itself I can't see why this is such a shock horror thing, I never seen the Nat Geo magazine be this sensationalist, with the images and such it seems that they are trying to get readership more than interesting articles.
