And how about some portholes along the side, for individual firearms, so the fellas can stick out their guns and shoot people?

For those of you that don't know. About 3:05. Say, you think we could make this thing amphibious? Ford the troops across a river?
That humvee looks cool as shit. I would drive one if the gas mileage wont be 300 gallons to the mile.

exactly what i thought of
I hope at least if guns are mounted on top of these new vehicles they are maneuvered remotely.
I've heard of many cases where the gunners were picked off by foreign snipers because they were in the open and vulnerable.

I'm sure it supports an RWS too. Those things just probably cost a lot more than a hole on the roof with an M2.

The one on the left looks EXACTLY the fucking same as a vehicle I've seen somewhere else but it's killing me that I can't remember where. At first I thought it was RFG but after looking at those vehicles there are several differences.

Gotta pull one of these numbers.

The Caspir?

meh, unattractive, angles too pointy
The "futuristic" style does have a meaning.
Psychological warfare.

That's an APC, not a jeep. I think he's talking about these.

That entire scene is made very odd by the fact that the bradley has actually done quite well in modern combat with the rise of mechanized infantry supported by IFV's.
It like...reverses the intended message.
Wait a second, this is a almost direct clone of the bad company 2 cobra....

But the program which spawned the Bradley fighting vehicle started in 1963 long before the Bradley actually came into being. The features that it had originally were changed once they put it through testing.
Almost every army you look at is ahead of the American Army, as far as taking care of our infantry. The Russians, are ahead of us, the German, are ahead of us, the Dutch are ahead of us, the French are ahead of us, the Yugoslavians are ahead of us. Almost everybody has a better infantry vehicle than the U.S. Army. We would have been better off in 1963 when we started to just build the MICV immediately. Are we to start over again? My guess is that if you start over again, you will have a 10 percent increase in effectiveness and 50 percent increase in cost.
General William E. DePuy
It is the second guess, and constant redesigning of armchair generals that was the issue with the bradley. Once it actually underwent some testing, the problems were rectified.

That's still an APC.
Armoured Personnel Carrier

the design/prototypes for this car has been around for quite sometime, BC2 and RFG probably copied it
No, the name of the vehicle is the cobra, the main vehicle concept in this thread is NOT the cobra. Many countries already use the cobra.
i wonder if this will actually go through, after all the Army signed contracts for the SCAR like twice and both times dropped it
That's still an APC.

Not enough armor and seating spots to be classified as a APC.
That vehicle has more in common with a humvee and similar, than a APC.

It's hard to say, the DoD does this all the time.
So it runs on normal petrol, well that's retarded.
Considering the north pole being gone soon and all.
Well what do you expect it to run on?
Im pretty sure happiness and rainbows are in short supply in warzones.
I thought that Oshkosh truck was replacing the Humvee?

The Otokar Cobra is a Turkish armored car so I don't think BC2 copied it from this prototype :v:
