Well, yeah. This is almost 2011. 40 MB is almost nothing in the world of games.

Do you know how much it costs to store 40MB of data when your entire server infrastructure is based around IBM 305 RAMACs?
Why fix what isn't broken? :v:

N64 cartridges are only able to store 64MB of data in the first place. Most N64 games are even smaller than that(in the 20-40MB range).
Most People who own a Wii AND a PC would just avoid the Wii version anyways, not a big loss
Nintendo: Oh look, we're too lazy to be original, lets Shit out another Mario game and slap the NEW on to it and hordes of retards will go buy it.
Like pretty much every sequel ever?

No Mario game had four player coop, new levels, and new powerups.

Mario Party and mario kart?
Eh, so what. Nintendo's wiiware sucks, and you can get it on steam for a lot cheaper.
http://www.examiner.com/video-games-in-chicago/wiiware-s-super-meat-boy-cancelled
I was looking forward to seeing what the new characters were.
Bullshit!
Meh, I'd rather them not release the game at all than release a shitty version of it.
Buy it on Steam, and then connect a Wii Remote to your PC.
Problem solved!
Wow, if you read the title in a perverted sense I can garuntee you will laugh.
So I can't spell that word, give me fucking boxes

It's a fun game.

Mario Kart isn't a platformer, it's a totally different game.
Hopefully, Team Meat will add the characters from the wii version to the pc version. Hey, they added 2 new characters already, why not some others?
they could at least make a wii version on a disc instead of on Wiiware.
they could at least make a wii version on a disc instead of on Wiiware.
Yeah, but it costs no more than $15 on every other platform it's been released on. It's more expensive to produce physical disc versions of games, so no doubt the retail version would cost more on the shelves. Considering that the full game is only $10 right now on XBLA and $7.50 on Steam, I don't think anybody would opt into paying around $20 or $30 for the disc version on Wii. It would only suit the small demographic of people who own just a Wii and either a very terrible PC (It doesn't take much to run this game...) or no PC at all.

He didn't say it had to be.
He didn't say it had to be.
What I'm seeing here is some butthurt dick who didn't like the game because it was too hard for him.
The Wii still exists?
I totally forgot actually. :v:
Congratulations, you missed Super Mario Galaxy 2, one of the best 3D platformers in history, and one of the best games of 2010.
They can't do PSN because of contracts with microsoft.
Maybe if you had thought about Fat princess, BF 1943, or the many other games that are available for download and easily way in at gigs.
Is that because Microsoft won't allow it, or Sony?
At least it's a reasonable answer as to why.
The internal storage is only 512 MB large.
[editline]27th December 2010[/editline]
Though it can use SDHC cards of up to 32 GB.
fun fact: any games "stored" on the SD card are copied into the 512mb internal memory and run from there when you play them (because apparently it's faster/nintendo is lazy), so even if they did up the limit it could only be a theoretical maximum of 512mb, which it wouldn't be because the internal memory is used for a lot of other stuff.
