I was expecting the title to end "beat up". Not sure which one is worse. Probably being dragged by a van.
Considering the guy had slabs of meat hanging from his body afterwards, that's pretty accurate.
Wait. Guy A is 50 cents short for his cigarettes so he asks guy B for some change, who says no because he's anti-smoking. Guy A says guy B will need a gun, guy B asks why, takes guy A outside and does that shit to him? Honestly, can we please get a better source for this? This shit's confusing.
Sounds more like guy A took guy B out and guy B did that shit to him. Either guy B was seriously anti-smoking and wanted to kill the smoker. Or guy A just really wanted a smoke and picked a fight with the wrong guy about it.
This article is very confusing.
It makes sense for me. I'll explain it. Guy A = Smoker Guy B = Van owner Guy A didn't have enough money to pay for his cigarettes, so he asks Guy B, who is beside him, if he has 50 cents to pay for the remaining amount. Guy B is anti-smoking and says "I won't pay for your bad habit". Guy A got annoyed and, wanting to throw a dick comment back at Guy B, blurts out "You need a gun". Guy A was trying to say that carrying a gun is just as bad of a habit as smoking is. Everyone gets confused at this comment. Guy B asks why he needs a gun, the clerk pays the missing 50 cents and calls 911. When Guy A and Guy B leave, something happens and Guy A is now under Guy B's van.

Where the hell does this come from? I'm so confused.
What? Where the hell does this come from? I'm so confused.
It seems to be the most logical conclusion for that statement at this point. It's an incredibly stupid comeback, but I don't see how that statement can actually fit in any other way.
The "You need a gun" thing was obviously a threat and not a comparison. "You need a gun because I'm going to kill you otherwise."
What? Where the hell does this come from? I'm so confused.
It didn't, he didn't read it right. Guy A said that Guy B needs a guy, guy B said "What?" followed by "Why do I need a gun?" Then they go out, and I assume Guy A was probably craving his smokes so he lashed out causing himself to be under a van. While it isn't a good reason to put somebody under a van, it does provide an explanation.
Are there no other sources on this?
He asked for 50 cents.
and told the guy he asked for 50 cents he needed a gun after he refused you don't need to be anti-smoking to get that he didn't "just ask for 50 cents" and even if the guy is a smoker himself, there is no reason why he should give some stranger 50 cents. Sure, it may not be a lot to most of us, but it's still his hard earned money, and he has the right to choose what to do with it.
UPDATE
A man was recovering Tuesday after being struck by a van and dragged at least 30 to 40 yards the day before, police said. About 4:45 p.m. Monday, three men were in line at the 7-Eleven store at 920 Level Green Blvd. when they began arguing, said Officer Adam Bernstein, a police spokesman. The argument grew heated, and the men went outside, he said. That's when one of them got into a van and struck one of the others, Bernstein said. The driver then dragged the man before fleeing, he said. The victim suffered serious injuries, including severe road rash, but he is expected to survive, Bernstein said. Medics took him to a hospital for treatment. Witnesses have helped police identify a suspect, and warrants are out for his arrest on charges of attempted aggravated malicious wounding and aggravated malicious wounding, Bernstein said.
http://hamptonroads.com/2011/04/warrants-are-out-after-man-dragged-van-va-beach
Well, he DID ask for 50 Cent. :rimshot:
50 Cent's latest tour was such a drag. Also, that avatar looks familiar.
:aaa: THIEF!
Used it from the moment I made my account back in 2005. It's like an alien dance party in here.
