[sp]I bring a message: dark days are coming, Batman. The Prophecy is coming true, you are the warrior who will close the gates of Hell, you are the one who will save this day, and in doing so, events will occur that you cannot stop, from the ashes of Arkham the fires will rage and Gotham will burn, and you, you will burn too.[/sp]
Batman Arkham Ashes confirmed?
Actually a good title.
Origins was okay.
But it totally [sp]missed every one of it's chances to use the vast variety of characters it had. Otherwise it was well done, it's story about Joker was good, it's just shitty they buried all the other things that the games plot had going for it beneath this. If Joker had stayed the main villain, but Black Mask was his own man and force in the game and you actually had all 8 assassins out for you, it'd be pretty great. It's a shame they missed that chance but what they did with the Joker was great.[/sp]
can we finally get an Arkham game where [sp]the Joker isn't the fucking main villain? Mark Hamill is a god, but I am sick of having the Joker being the big bad/final boss.[/sp]
I think it would be neat if they made Batman go international. Like have Gotham be a hub world and then Batman can take a Bat-boat or jet to fight crime in neon drenched Tokyo sky scrappers or fight terrorists in Qurac or fight a super natural threat in some creepy 'medieval' German town.
Lets just stop with the batman please. I want to see what else they can do.
I want a return to the tight metroidvania of Asylum, but we all know that's not happening. The Open World of City and Origins just made them feel unfocused.
Also, both City and Origins fell into the trap of not having a main villain. In Asylum the show was clearly being run by the Joker and then all the other villains were there because they were in the asylum and it made sense for them to be there. City didn't know whether to have Ras, Joker or Hugo be the main villain, and Origins had that sudden switch from Black Mask to the Joker because ???
Would like to see an Arkham Asylum > Arkham City > Gotham City progression.
I played City a while ago for the 2nd time and loved it more than I could remember.
I instantly bought Origins after that to get my Batman fix, it's a decent game but if you hop to Origins straight from City it feels so much worse, filled with very small changes that make the game more annoying to play. For me Origins was filled with too small places to fight in and camera that I, for the first time in batman game, had to manually adjust all the time to keep my combo going.
Origins had a cool story though but I wish they wouldn't have forced the Joker in to it.
I can't wait what rocksteady has to show. I hope there is no Joker this time, I'm getting kinda bored of him tbh.
