Certainly, a severe personality disorder could account for violent behavior or a lack of empathy. However, I seriously doubt that this kid is a legitimate sociopath. It's a much more likely that he simply got steered towards violence as a result of his environment. Maybe it's problems at home, maybe it's egged on by the people he hangs with, etc. Hard to say without knowing more about his background. I mean, this is classic gang behavior. Brutal, random attacks are unfortunately pretty standard initiations and activities for those who run in those social cricles. Obviously, most people involved in that life aren't psychopathic or sociopathic, they are just products of seriously fucked up environments. You aren't born a gangbanger, you know? You're raised to be one, socialized into thinking that violence is the key to respect and power.

Some kids should just be euthanized before they turn into serial killers or murderers. Like honestly I'd be surprised to see one study showing rehabilitation is even possible in animals like this. Something is broken in his head and I don't think it's within our power to fix it.. but instead we're going to lock him up and let him out multiple times just to hurt someone else over and over until someone ends up dead and we finally throw away the key.

It is not a "condition" and it is not treatable in any respect no matter what millenial make-it-up-as-we-go sociology (incorrectly) teaches. APD and Sociopathy, contrary to again "revised" nu-psychology sociology are not even kind of the same thing. Sociopaths can and do lead completely normal lives should they choose to. People with APD are literally a whole other kettle of fish in symptomology, manifestation and treatment.

If hes not safe to reintroduce to society then its best he's not released.
