My girlfriend sometimes answers to questions I ask her at night when she's asleep... but only with yes or no questions.

It's like sleepwalking. Some people aren't paralyzed while they sleep, so their bodies often end up acting out dreams or just random behaviors.
I know there is a state of when you aren't entirely awake or entirely asleep.
I have these few times in a week, it's quite interesting to simply sit down only to take a glance at my watch "5 minutes later" only to notice that I have sat still right there for hour and a half.
Friends have told me how I look when this happens, to quote them: "You look some sort of philosopher who has smoked pot... and stare into distance with blank expression while your head swings sideways in a very smooth momentum."
I asked them to record it once this happens, I sorta want to see it myself...
I don't know, I consistently have dreams of computer viruses and whatnot completely taking over my machine and trashing everything on it. Just last night I had one, in fact.
You don't know what horror is until you've unplugged a computer, only to have it keep deleting your life's work of downloading massive quantities of furry porn.

After you had banned me for warez that one time, I had a dream where Facepunch was manifested in a physical form. I was in the ban camp which took the form of Auschwitz, while I looked out of the fence and saw other parts of the forum dancing around. Then I woke up and realised I'm a fucking loser :v:

Never texted while asleep, but I do have something similar that happens on a fairly regular basis - I'll dream I've been checking my texts or twitter feed, then actually wake up and not know if I've checked them or if it was just my sleeping brain reminding me to do so when I wake up.

I once had a dream where I browsed the bk-portal.co.uk website, reading the news, checking mods, downloading them and installing them to blitzkrieg and playing them.
Then I woke up and realized that the site owner closed the site three years ago
Really something that you don't want to remember, that site was the very heart of blitzkrieg series and it's modding community. Still hurts like a bitch remembering the golden years.

i too had a dream where i logged onto facepunch, and i was suddenly transported to a physical manifestation of the forums
for some reason, my mind displayed this as a warehouse full of naked people breakdancing on the floor, with blood spraying out of their penises

I don't think I've ever even dreamt being on the computer.
Except once when I was like 13 I dreamt I beat a really hard stage in a game (counting the PS2 as a computer)
I do this. I get a text at like 3am from someone on a completely different sleep schedule, then I reply and totally forget that I did come morning
