No thanks. I don't want to die.
Then... Don't buy one.
these are going to be fucking insanely expensive
No thanks. I don't want to die.
lmao, like driving a 1980's car on the weekends and taking it to car shows (which is how these cars will be used) is a sure way to death? If you don't want to die then don't drive period, you're not invincible in your 20XX
No thanks. I don't want to die.
ironically delorean set out to make it safer than the cars of its time.
I thought they did this back in 2008. Oh well, still neat!
Considering theres literally no warranty for them, You won't find one without a shitload of miles, and spare parts aren't exactly cheap or plentiful, it's not a cheap car to use and maintain.
I once found one for $20k with 20k miles on it. Not bad at all. This company that's now going to be manufacturing them has also sold spare parts for them for quite some time (With the exception of the left front quarter panel, DMC was shut down before they made the last batch so it's become the rarest part to find). But obviously you're right, pretty much any other modern car on the planet for $20k would make more sense, only an enthusiast is going to buy one.
