Pretty sure rape is a much bigger problem in India than the US. I followed a rape case in India some time ago and the paper "Times of India" wrote that it's likely at least 8 of 10 rapes there go completely unreported, probably even more. The few cases they are reported they're often dropped too.

Raping a child isn't allowed anywhere I can assure you of that.. it's whether the legal system over there is good to capture who did it.
