A 6.4 wouldn't have got reported before the Haitian one. Lol media bias. Also this is earth shattering news
ahaha ching chong
Where's Austin?
I don't want to ruin my pun with some smug picture.
This is groundbreaking news.
Who cares.... Its natural.
If by "got real" you mean easily fear mongered lemmings who spazz out at every single tremor get brought back down to reality, then yes.
So many earthquakes, so little time.
Guess what, earth is made up of tectonic plates that shift! There are tons of 5.0 and above earthquakes every year, the only reason there is so much media coverage now is because of Haiti.

Earthquakes happen all the time, this isn't really news, it's just news agencies starting to cover them because people will read it because of HAITI
Are you serious.
He's basically right. No one gave a shit about Haiti or minor earthquakes before the earthquake in Haiti.
Are you serious.
Are you dense?
Damn, we need a magnitude 10 quake. Shit would be so horrifically devastating.
Taiwan is really rocking.

I've got an Awesome Google earth plug-in that shows seismic data in near real-time. I get to see the earthquakes before the news does. :) (If I'm on then, coincidentally) But for now it looks as if Palin's having a bumpy ride;
this is nothing. we need a 32 earthquake. that would turn the earths crust over in a second, shake up some fresh oil for MR. America and increase fertility by "epic". not to mention clean up India and Chinas population problem. (coldhearted/disrespectful? sorry)
I wonder why we can't get decimal magnitude attacks in pokémon...
This situation is incredibly like a word closely related to this situation but is not the situation itself.
What's up with all these earthquakes :geno: Earth is angry at us :frown:
seems like earth is tired of us humans :(
Earth is really mad.
:siren:Please make sure you know the difference.:siren:
Though still widely used in the mass media, the Richter scale has been superseded by the moment magnitude scale, which is calibrated to give generally similar values for medium-sized earthquakes (magnitudes between 3 and 7). Unlike the Richter scale, however, the moment magnitude scale is built on more sound seismological ground, and does not saturate in the high-magnitude range.
I guess they got, rocked up
Oh shit it's an earthquake
did another fat kid fall down somewhere?
What the fuck is going on here?
Ugh, every time someone insists on posting one of these threads I always feel like I have to come in and set things straight before people like you start to freak out! There are about 30,000 earthquakes every fucking year. Thats 82 a day! Stop freaking out!
