That was actually a great Advert. I actually have the same keyboard that guy has hahha I also but couldnt help but think of this the whole time
What keyboard might that be?
Well played... well played.
One does not question the karaoke master.
Internet Explorer Sucks a bit less, but most other browsers suck alot less than that. :v:
Implents HTML 6, 7, 8 and 9 too I laughed
IE sucks less, but Chrome sucks less more. shit, wait
agreed
What keyboard might that be?
Microsoft Sidewinder X4 afaik
Implents HTML 6, 7, 8 and 9 too I laughed
I'd have laughed if they implemented HTML5 spec so far to the same level as other browsers. To me this just seems like an awkward "It's ok, IE is better now!", even though it's still much behind the other browsers.
HEY I HAVE THAT KEYBOARD AND IT SUCKS.
wtf are you talking about, the Microsoft SideWinder x4 Keyboard is a very efficient keyboard for gaming and general use that comes with anti-ghosting and 6 programmable macro keys MSRP $59.95
wtf are you talking about, the Microsoft SideWinder x4 Keyboard is a very efficient keyboard for gaming and general use that comes with anti-ghosting and 6 programmable macro keys MSRP $59.95
I'm typing on it right now and will outright state that it's no better than any other dome/membrane keyboard. The goddamn keys get stuck whenever you spill liquid on it too instead of just training out like good little keys.
I use Chrome, so apparently I spend every waking second criticizing a sub-par browser. Meh, I've wasted my time with less.
It is good to see that they are improving it a lot but I see no reason for me to change from Chrome for now.

I wish they skydrive integrated IE like they do with office
That was a cool ad IE is still god awful and I'm never going to use it but, cool ad
Wow, that was actually an awesome advert

Of course I'd still never use IE since Chromium and Firefox are both better & open source, so there's no reason to chose IE.
should have made the guy 14 and it would have been more accurate
IE really got better. I don't have to worry about my family clicking the "internet button" and being open to all kinds of attack vulnerabilities so much anymore.
How is this trolling?
That music couldn't fit any better.
IE sucks.
Just out of curiosity, does Apple have to do that with Safari as well, or is it just Microsoft?
I would assume so but I cannot confirm, as I do not have a mac.
For the record, I request someone explain me this: Please tell me HOW IE is inferior, not why YOU think it sucks.
I have to say that I'm quite happy about the new IE. It finally follows web standards and websites render properly in it. the only thing that I'm missing is that it still hates all Javascript and that it has no decent dev interface like chrome etc do. [editline]30th November 2012[/editline]
For the record, I request someone explain me this: Please tell me HOW IE is inferior, not why YOU think it sucks.
It used to hate all HTML5 webpages and it didn't follow most of the web standards. It had issues downloading files such as javascript etc and images didn't always render properly. Also it still hates javascript... AND it is VERY insecure. I already read about a crash POC that causes memory corruption. I can't remember if it was for the new IE but it's out there and brand new.
That was actually pretty clever.
i use ie at uni and it's pretty fast. my only gripe with it is that the search bar defaults to bing and bing's searches have always been awful for me
Love this ad so much
Microsoft thinks they are being clever, but they don't realize that this was our plan all along. We had to force them to actually make something good.
For the record, I request someone explain me this: Please tell me HOW IE is inferior, not why YOU think it sucks.
It's still a little insecure. Microsoft is the OS vendor as well as the Program vendor. It's never been very good at implementing the standards. It held back the web for several years There are better open source alternatives.
