I never watched a Tarantino movie. Should i do it RIGHT NOW?
Do you even need to ask? [sp]No, you do not need to ask. DO IT NOW[/sp]
cyberpunk tarantino movie would be cool as fuck
We need more Cyberpunk in general.
I never watched a Tarantino movie. Should i do it RIGHT NOW?
Start with Inglorious Basterds or Pulp Fiction, I've literally never heard of anyone that didn't like those films
How could you be in Hollywood that long and still have trust exist within you?
I think Tarantino is making a point that there are consequences for scummy behavior.
I want to know who those 6 actors were.
Bruce Dern and Christoph Waltz are confirmed to be among them, and I think we can all safely assume that samuel. L jackson was too. somehow I get the feeling that the leak was either staged by quentin himself, or he used it as an excuse to back out of making the film. he never seemed very enthusiastic about it and it's easily the least creative film he's ever conceived.
Bruce Dern and Christoph Waltz are confirmed to be among them, and I think we can all safely assume that samuel. L jackson was too.
Tim Roth was another, but Tarantino ruled him out from being the traitor.
clearly this is just a plot to promote his next movie, which will focus on 6 characters, one of which is the traitor
Tim Roth was another, but Tarantino ruled him out from being the traitor.
Waltz and Jackson are certainly ruled out as well.
Maybe he'll go back to doing this project:
In a late 2012 interview with the online magazine The Root, Tarantino clarified his remarks and described his next film as being the final entry in a ″Django-Inglourious Basterds″ trilogy called Killer Crow. The film will depict a group of World War II-era black troops who have "been fucked over by the American military and kind of go apeshit. They basically – the way Lt. Aldo Raine (Brad Pitt) and the Basterds are having an 'Apache resistance' – [the] black troops go on an Apache warpath and kill a bunch of white soldiers and white officers on a military base and are just making a warpath to Switzerland.
Really liked Django, so I was hyped for another western.
I'm so upset.
Well shit. Me and my friends were celebrating hearing about his new project by watching all his movies.
clearly this is just a plot to promote his next movie, which will focus on 6 characters, one of which is the traitor
I bet it was Judas
Maybe he'll go back to doing this project:
That sounded like he was joking, considering in this generation, that movie would be backlashed and protested the fuck out of for being racist, and the idea already being extremely close to Inglorious Basterds, and just sounding plain dumb.
Tim Roth was another, but Tarantino ruled him out from being the traitor.
Is that a movie joke or a real info?
Is that a movie joke or a real info?
I think it's a reservoir dogs joke.
Self-righteous? Do you know how hard it is to write a good screenplay? Especially to the length Tarantino usually writes? To have it leaked is basically putting in all that effort for nothing, especially since it's also a first draft. I don't blame him at all.
He's shelving the project for an undisclosed amount of time because the first draft of his screenplay was read by more than 6 people. Look at how many people in this thread are disappointed. He clearly cares more about himself than he does making his fans happy
why? the guy's great at merging genres and i'd love to see a sci fi from him. he doesn't need to be scorcese and do the same thing over and over again
He only works on things that genuinely interest him and that he's got a lot of knowledge about. If he isn't really into his sci-fi as much as his westerns or crime dramas then honestly I think a sci-fi from him would fall short somewhere.
clearly this is just a plot to promote his next movie, which will focus on 6 characters, one of which is the traitor
Reservoir Dogs
tim roth can't be the traitor, he already betrayed harvey keitel so i don't think he'd have it in him to do it again.
Is that a movie joke or a real info?
It's in the article
That’s a betrayal, but not crippling because the agent didn’t end up with the script. There is an ugly maliciousness to the rest of it. I gave it to three actors: Michael Madsen, Bruce Dern, Tim Roth. The one I know didn’t do this is Tim Roth. One of the others let their agent read it, and that agent has now passed it on to everyone in Hollywood. I don’t know how these fucking agents work, but I’m not making this next.
If any of those, my money would be on Madsen. I'm even surprised that Quentin decided to give him the script. Madsen has pretty much disappeared from Tarantino movies after Kill Bill, because well, he borrowed around a million from Tarantino and never payed back.
Quentin Tarantino is acting like a spoilt child. So what if the script leaked, deal with it and turn it from a negative to a positive.
i doubt it's actually shelved this is probably just a test from the studio to see how popular the movie will be
well it's his art to make he can choose what he wants to make i don't know if that's self righteous but don't we normally applaud artists who only do what they want to do?
well we didnt applaud mass effect's storyline even though thats supposedly what they wanted to do
well we didnt applaud mass effect's storyline even though thats supposedly what they wanted to do
i didn't say we had to applaud the work of people who did what they want to do just their decision to do what they wanted to do
I want to know who those 6 actors were.
Christoph Waltz was probably one of them.
Great job people. Not like I wanted to see that movie or anything.
“I hadn’t given it to Christoph, I haven’t given it to Sam Jackson,” he said. “I gave it to three motherfucking actors. We met in a place, and I put it in their hands. Reggie Hudlin’s agent never had a copy. It’s got to be either the agents of Dern or Madsen. Please name names.”
