We have our flaws but honestly I think this is a great Country to live in. I want to move to the UK or Canada in my life but I will always miss this place. The people can be bogan as shit but they've got big hearts and I'm gifted to be born in such a safe place
isn't it the most backwards gov when it comes to the enviroment, and isn't everything in Australia out to kill you including the water, air, and wild dogs?
Yes, no.

Animals aren't a legit problem because most people live in suburbs like every other first world country.

Last month I was having a chat with my bestie about his shooting competition
"Meh, me and dad are selling our guns afterwards because a new mower would be more useful"
God bless.

is everything ive learned about Australia over the internet a lie?
realtalk, as much as I enjoy foreigners joking about how "everything over there wants to kill you", it does strain my patience after the 400th time I've heard it
Let me say
1. The Government is shit, Abbott is a fucking twat and the sooner he's ousted, the sooner we can throw his backward ass policies out the window
2. Nothing really kills you here, I've had spiders in my house and we've let them stay because they help kill the ants. We've got the best filtration system with other western nations, my town uses recycled water but I have not tasted the differences because it is treated well
Also in terms of wild dogs and pigs, they're mostly in the bush or "outback". But even then unless you're travelling deep into the sticks you're more than likely to be killed by a backpack murderer than a dog or pig. They aren't near any popular hiking ventures as far as I know, and even so there's a lot of keen farmers out here who travel to these places with shotguns and blast the fuckers back to the stoneage
If you ever think about travelling down here, you can be comforted with the knowledge that you will be safe all the time as long as you have common sense and don't travel in CBD's late at night unless you're with a mate (safety reasons, a lot of drunk dickheads who think everyone's up for a fight)

The outback, grilled shrimp, road trains, the way you people use "cunt", Australium, 'roos and 'doos, the slang, koala bears, something else involving Australia, etc.

netflix will get there some day, they just are really hurting over here right now, just browsing hulu's main page i can find at least 5-6 things that were on netflix like 6 months ago, hulu basically has more cash than netflix and they use it to poach everything good from them as well as being Hollywood's little darling
"everything is trying to kill me" is overdone
sure we have big spiders and snakes here, but unless you go out into the bush you aren't really going to find anything that can kill you. One of our big spiders, the huntsmen looks terrifying but they're prized by all aussies for their fly catching skills
If you spot one in your house, you're either going to remove it with a bucket or just leave it there. They're too beautiful to kill, and too big so if you miss you're going to be shitting bricks
I'd much rather live there than in America.
The people there seem generally nicer than the people I'm usually around. At least, my aussie friends do. :P

Pretty much universal advice, but especially so around here

I'll have to vote on our beaches as being a great aspect. Our beaches are beautiful and so isolated, especially in WA.
But yeah, we shouldn't be paying 400% more. Heck, I would be happy with 150-200% more if it's necessary to have the service, but not fucking 400%.
This is why half of my blu-ray collection cost me $15 or less per movie.
I sort of feel bad about what they said about the walking dead because, well. They're right lol
That's what you get abbot, make me pay through my arsehole for uni, well then mate I'll be getting my savings in other ways, be it through utorrent, or through the self serve thing at coles
Fuckin strayla, stay mad gubbo cunts

self serve is great, all the expensive apples and citrus fruits become the cheapest ones when I use it.

I do it at woolies. Buy a bag of sour, yellow, acidic potatoes then my staff discount card takes a further 5% off :v:
