So... any updates?
I definitely would like to know as well.
This is tomorrow not today.
Seems like word has it that Trump is pushing for sanctions on North Korea.
But boy thank god Hilary Clinton didn't get president. /s
But boy thank god Hilary Clinton didn't get president. /s
I'm really upset she didnt get elected and sit on her ass with the whole north Korea thing while pissing off Russia /s
If a war were to occur, it could become a question whether it'd last longer than his presidency or not though it's dependent on the circumstances. There'd be a shit ton of repercussions, first of which is the 25 million people residing there. But I'm not read up on topics of war and logistics, so I wouldn't know much else to say.
Given how Trump frequently parrots talking points from Fox News shortly thereafter onto his Twitter account, I wonder how he will respond to this.
I keep expecting to wake up to images of a mushroom cloud over Korea; it's not pleasant.
This could be Trump wanting to get the war approved by congress and for senators to know everything unlike Iraq where facts were scattered A lot of senators will be future presidential candidates, the last thing they want is something like Iraq being on their report card for years to come if the mission is botched/worthless
honestly its gonna suck attacking north korea but they been basically asking for it for years now so
honestly its gonna suck attacking north korea but they been basically asking for it for years now so
It would be nice to do so, however, with a competent strategist in office.
Vietnam 2.0
pretty sure that would cause his impeachment, but I've been wrong about trump before
Impeachment, this better cause a fucking riot at the white house.
U.S. President Donald Trump (R)
You know, just in case someone forgets the political party that the POTUS is a member of.
Vietnam 2.0
this will be very, very different from the vietnam war
Vietnam 2.0
North korea is more conventional than the vietcong and Vietnamese army. Its the guerrilla fighters they gotta worry about
This is kinda scary tbh.
this will be very, very different from the vietnam war
Dunno about you, but when I hear "Trump's war on North Korea" I'm already picturing American solders armed with M16's talking shit about LBJ, listening to hard rock in their helicopters named after a group of Indians and flying over vast swaths of palm trees. Plus unrestricted smoking and talking about banging the local chicks.
It's going to happen one day, and the longer we wait, the worse it's going to be for everyone. May as well gear up for it and do it. They're even threatening Australia with a nuclear attack now (Welcome, Ozzies)
part 2, the korean war never ended
Yeah it did. If people want to knickpick that there was no peace treaty so "it's still going on" then I'm going to point out that hey, the Korean war never happened to begin with because war was never once declared by the US.
Yeah it did. If people want to knickpick that there was no peace treaty so "it's still going on" then I'm going to point out that hey, the Korean war never happened to begin with because war was never once declared by the US.
By that definition the US hasn't been to war in quite some time :v:
Yeah it did. If people want to knickpick that there was no peace treaty so "it's still going on" then I'm going to point out that hey, the Korean war never happened to begin with because war was never once declared by the US.
Except there is a difference between the US officially describing it as a "police action" as it was an undeclared military action initiated by UN Resolution instead of a single nation declaring war, and North and South Korea maintaining a war footing and continuing to engage in deadly conflict and kidnappings and shit on an ongoing basis in the intervening 60+ years since the armistice. A frozen conflict such as the Korean peninsula is a source of instability and conflict because it could heat back up into open warfare at any time, especially as North Korea's political instability under a more inexperienced Kim continues to wobble. But, sure, let's just trivialize that into a "nitpick", it's the same thing as not calling a war a War because it wasn't one nation signing a paper that said "WAR" on it.
The United States would absolutely destroy North Korea I think
The United States would absolutely destroy North Korea I think
We already did once, look what happened.
Nobody needs to worry about Guerilla war or a ground campaign - in the event that something does happen, it's going to be precision strikes on NK's nuclear weapons infrastructure
The United States would absolutely destroy North Korea I think
That's what we said 15 years ago about Afghanistan and Iraq
Given how Trump frequently parrots talking points from Fox News shortly thereafter onto his Twitter account, I wonder how he will respond to this.
if the united states were to nuke north korea pre-emptively I don't think anybody would be surprised if the collapse of the united states or some kind of revolution or civil war were to happen.
That's what we said 15 years ago about Afghanistan and Iraq
This is a little bit different, we're fighting a significantly weaker military not a ragtag massive tribal group that'll fight till the last man spread across a massive fucking dessert
