This article from some random Russian news site says that the CIA leaked the info while every news site that is actually relevant is reporting the CIA as investigating a leak of info.

CIA is just not very good at intelligence work if history is to be believed (This obviously lead to the operational side too being pretty much jabbing in the dark). Alot of failures have been hidden under the TOP SECRET stamp through the times. I'm not meaning that killing Bin Laden was a failure, it's just that it's better to be enigmatic than having to answer for what you do, keep everything under the blankets just to be sure.
