In the film adaptation of Kane and Lynch, Lynch is going to be played by Jamie Foxx(A black guy) and that was kind of annoying to hear because that means the movie is most likely going to fail. It's like making a movie about GTA San Andreas and making the person who plays CJ white.

It's called localisation. Frankly, I don't care too much about what they have to change as long as the film works and is enjoyable. It's not like Akira really hinges on the fact that it's set in Japan.

Even though I generally hate anime (with Miyazaki's films being a wonderful exception) Akira was [b]really[/b] damn good. It just sucks that they are trying to make a Americanized shit-pump of a film out of it. There is no way in hell they are going to be able to do the final part of the film because of how fucked up it was.
