Sorry, but weeaboos are a minority. Hollywood is being smart by appealing to their primary demographic: white people. If this cast was filled with asians (not saying thats by any means a bad thing) then nobody would come see a movie based on an (in mainstream American culture, at least) obscure anime film.

Not to mention the ending just won't happen if this is PG-13. a nuclear explosion goes off, Tetsuo turns into what looks like a giant deformed baby, and just so much shit you would not be able to show.
