Trump is literally just going to try and destabilize the country economically so the billionaires like him have an easier time using their funds to push a desperate society around. Peter Thiel is speaking tonight. He's spoken before, and he's said Democracy and freedom are incompatible. For a man who has been on the sidelines for years and years to suddenly jump in so hastily shows me he thinks Trump is the man to destabilize american democracy. If you vote for Trump you're trying to kill modern america IMO.
How would you even do that? It's the result of having a winner-takes-all system.
Multiparty systems have worked for many european countries, but I am not sure where you could begin to try and end the two party system, especially when the two parties are the ones in power.
"who cares about bathrooms" your party lmao
Trump is the physical embodiment of every negative stereotype Americans have on the international stage - from insecurity to bloodthirst, bigotry and the mistaken impression he's the smartest man in the room. Most American voters aren't as stupid as he seems to think they are, and even given the two horrible choices Americans have in the upcoming election, America as a whole can and will do better than a clown like Trump.
"who cares about bathrooms" your party lmao
A party isn't and shouldn't be a hivemind. [editline]21st July 2016[/editline] "I feel like the anchovies on Ivankas salad." ????
I'm loving this guy's speech. Good move to focus on Trump's human side rather than Clinton's corruption. Ivanka is up next, followed by the Don himself
Just tuned in halfway through that guy's speech, miss anything important?
Just tuned in halfway through that guy's speech, miss anything important?
Nope. Some decent videos but those are short and you can find them posted somewhere later. Ivanka is giving the next speech, and then the Don brings down the house.
You're assuming Trump has a chance in hell of taking office.
But he actually does. All the recent polls show Trump closing the gap on Hillary. I think it just depends on how he does with this speech, and how he carries himself for the rest of the election.
Trump has a chance but he has to tone down the rhetoric and target more liberal ideologies.
Trump has a chance but he has to tone down the rhetoric and target more liberal ideologies.
In other words, he needs to stop being himself.
It's to the point where I guess I'm voting for Trump or not voting at all (still leaning towards this so far) with me kicking around the idea of Johnson in my head a little, because I think a 3rd party at the debates would be a great thing. The only thing I'm sure of so far is I'm doing something that isn't voting for Hillary, which is a start, I guess. Still thinking it all over. I just missed it for the last election, and I'm in Virginia which is a pretty important state, so I'm trying to make it the best vote I can.
Does this pro-Trump biography video seem like this part of Back to the Future 2 to anyone?

The hype levels are reaching critical mass
In other words, he needs to stop being himself.
The opposite. Trump is very liberal for a Republican(hence why he's been at war with the establishment this entire time). He needs to start being himself and stop trying to appease the hardcore Republicans.
It was a good video at face value but it's tarnished by the negative things I already know about Trump. It will convince some people, though.
It was a good video at face value but it's tarnished by the negative things I already know about Trump. Everything over the past year has been on his political stances on marriage, abortion, immigration, ect. while his actual business history and attitude as a boss has been greatly overlooked.
Exactly. He played the far right to get votes.
Will the real Donald Trump please stand up?
Twitch viewer count rising Crowd responses growing louder Attendees are standing up Its happening [editline]21st July 2016[/editline] christ im about to fuckin nut bring him out already
ivanka killing the left
if this was said in the democratic convention, it'd feel as if it belonged there lol
They're really pushing the ~equality~ hard tonight, aren't they? Ivanka is basically the playing card to fight Donald's sexist image.
if this was said in the democratic convention, it'd feel as if it belonged there lol
I mean there's no real argument against equality until you bring up statistics which show that things are more or less equal than you think. A lot of the material tonight is the campaign aiming for the minority and female vote so bringing up objectively agreeable policies is a good way to go for it.
I know I shouldn't be, but I'm completely impressed by how well this family speaks.
THE LEGEND IS HERE
TRUMP IS HERE. LISTEN TO THAT MUSIC AND THAT CROWD.
