I was just saying. I'm not saying that a war is needed to end the recession, but I am making a historical observation. History seems to repeat itself.

WWII was not the only thing that brought the US out of the recession.

Nah it's mostly because people were so proud of him and thought he was some hero sent from the heavens and they don't want to swallow their pride and say that we're in the same situation we were before and that he could've at least made an attempt.
WW2 was also only good for America because prety much every other world power was bombed to shit while the closest to an Attack on US soil was Pearl Harbour. If it was a war with China, India and other countries that produce most of our stuff and the US was untouched through it, maybe then it might work.

Or they thought he was better than McCain and Palin.

But we aren't in the same situation we were. From your obviously absolute perception nothing has changed but every single economist is saying things are better than they were. Maybe not back to normal but he's still done something to help instead of sitting on his ass like you seem to think.
People who are ripping off welfare benefits need to get the fuck back to work. A lack of jobs is not the only problem, it's also a lack of people who actually look for a job.
Wazzzzzup brother.
.. Change
..unemployment

The national employment has been pretty high for about 4 years now. Where have you been? Last year it was about 15%.

Hey, when in Rome.
17% are fa- NO WAIT 90% are fat and lazy.
You guys just watch as the problem gets worse because the system is inherently flawed.
The economy ain't gonna get better - it's obsolete and outdated. It's time our civilization evolved past it.

people still bitched at him.
The best part is that the highest the unemployment rate ever got in my county was 6% during the recession.

The only reason this is happening is because of Bush

Bush isn't to blame for Katrina, but he did sit idly by longer than he needed to. It's a different situation, but people always take everything too far.
It's probably lower than 17%, but no doubt its higher than govt projections. Government stats are always understated. I'd say its in the 13-14% range.
