Spiderman is my least favorite marvel superhero because of Toby. But also, Spiderman is such a typical Marvel story. Someone once said that Marvel comics are normal people learning to be heroes, and DC comics are heroes learning to be normal people. If so, then Spiderman is such a generic template for that. Every step of the way, the "Peter Parker is a normal guy just like you and me" is shoved into your face. His power isn't even that cool, IMO
