• Blizzard Admits: Diablo 3 May Not Meet The Fans’ Expectations

My expectations are already low. I haven't pre-ordered it, and I'm not sure if I'll ever get it. I fear that Diablo 3 will ruin my loving memory of the first two. Sure it looks fun, but in all honesty they ruined the characters so freaking much! Diablo looks fucking retarded now, and the characters you play as look like indie game rejects. I feel they only made Diablo 3 because there was so much demand for it. And I fear that they don't actually care for the game like they used to. After all, they have their heads so far up Warcraft's ass I doubt they can see their nose.
wow they've really gone down the shitter
I can't respect Blizzard anymore with the whole Dota fiasco.

Community manager on forums speculates that D3 may not meet the fan's expectations BLIZZARD SAYS D3 IS SHIT, WARNS FANS TO BAN THIS FILTH

This just in: "The next iPad will not be as good as iPad 2, but hey, how could it be?" Xiu Lian - Foxconns parking lot supervisor
meh, don't care for this it seems like repackaged crap to me and it doesn't sit right with me blizzard's ingenuity is dying a slow death, starting in world of warcraft and branching into diablo starcraft is still good, and i'm excited to see what titan is, but that's really it [editline]27th February 2012[/editline]
This just in: "The next iPad will not be as good as iPad 2, but hey, how could it be?" Sucks for Valve. HL3 probably has the highest expectations of any game ever.
Sucks for Valve. HL3 probably has the highest expectations of any game ever.
Nothing will ever reach the hype levels of Daikatana, Spore, Team Fortress 2, Skyrim, or Duke Nukem Forever.
Still interested in D3
The one thing that bugs me is how much they're dumbing it down. They're listening to people who were too stupid to figure out a basic RPG stat system and removing all forms of player choice except for skills, runes, gear, and what color you can dye your armor. That's pretty much all the character customization that's left after Blizzard 'streamlined' the game systems.

I'd often build up 30, 50 points in unspent stats because they weren't worth the effort of clicking unless you needed to equip something

And holy shit if you put a single point into energy you'd be crucified for it. With spells you pretty much had one spell you maxed out and the rest were just synergies.
