9-11 was thousands of people and billions of dollars of damage. It pretty much was an act of war. Some homemade IED's doesn't really cut it, even though it was a terrible tragedy. It most likely was just some some loon or an extremist group. Think about the deaths of a war.

Yeah exact same area. I dunno I've seen around 20 threats ever since I've been here along the lines of "ENTIRE SCHOOL WILL BLOW UP TOMORROW" written on the walls and the like. Something about a threat actually coming from out of the school and saying that one of any schools in the district was just different.
It's probably unrelated, just so odd that it happens on the same day as this

Whats scary about this incident is that it dosent appear to have any motive behind it. If it were Muslims (which somehow Erik actually thought), they would definitely not be targeting Marathon Runners. And I cant even figure out what would compel someone to attack random, innocent bystanders with such force. There could definitely be a mad bomber or some extremist group in boston, as Glitchman said.

I still can't believe I was there, I still can't.
I wished I helped more, like my mom's friend who was there is a nurse, and she ran out and helped the injured. She said a woman walked up to her and said "Is something stuck in the back of my head?" And there was a huge piece of shrapnel. She said there was blood and guts everywhere. It was very brave of her to do something like that. She also helped a young teenage girl whose leg was completely blown off. I didn't see much of it because me, my mom, my brother, and his friend and others were all running as far away from the spot as possible. We all through the city. We walked over the bridge were my dad preposed to my mom (They are now divorced.) and all the way to a hotel that was near the New England aquarium, a place where I spent a lot of my childhood. We stayed for like an hour and thirty minutes at this hotel called the sailfish? I think that was what it was called and that's were my mom's friend cousin worked. It was so very sad.
stop jumping to blame muslims. i've been talking to a friend of mine and they're really worried about being targeted for this. there's absolutely no reason to lay the blame on any group right now
