CNN's reporting now that 71 have been confirmed injured. The Boston Globe has revised its claims from 100+ injured to 90.

My mom brought up the fact that this is the same week that Columbine happened, along with the Oklahoma City bombings.

Just got a call from a friend who was there, he told me he was in between the two explosions. He said he was closer to the finish line when it happened. Close enough that his ears are still messed up. He said when the first explosion went off he hesitated to get any closer but after a few seconds he moved in and tried to help as best as he could but kept getting pushed away by police and security. From what he saw at the finish line blast site he said it was bad. He said a lot of the people right near the explosion had singed hair and quite a few cuts but he said he could only see one person for sure he knew was gone. I feel so bad, his voice was very shaky and weak. This just sucks... There's nothing else to say, I can't put in words how disgusted I am right now with this situation.
