A professional terrorist organization would know to use bigger bombs with more shrapnel pointed OUTward not UPward. This was nothing that it could've been. We got lucky.

My FB feed is actually pretty clean, for a bunch of 16-17 y/o. Everyone's giving prayers and none of that jumping-to-conclusion bullshit.

I think overall, I can't really say that I'm too angry about any of this. Just sad, maybe, that some people, even if it is a very slim minority, will do this kind of thing to other people. That's how I'm feeling right now.

Also, the bombs were placed near the END of the race, where the medics area. Someone professional would either a. Put in directly in where the medics are, or b. place it far away from them.

What a tragedy. My mom has a friend who was running in the race. She finished an hour before the bombs, but was there. She said she'd never been so scarred by screams before.
