Nice to see one of the big cable outlets finally decided to pick up the story. All it took was a few police beatings and pepper sprayings.
Do what I did, Email your favorite news provider, and tell them. I just sent a message to CBC asking for more coverage. Hopefully we can see some relevant news.
This is really really shameful.
What's even worse is the fact that it's the men who have a higher rank doing most of these things. Like the man who reached OVER the police line to grab a woman who did absolutely nothing.
I know a lot of cops who are fantastic and really embody the police motto/slogan or whatever you want to call it. But the individuals in these videos are just horrifyingly shameful. I expect much much more from the police. Especially the ranking officers.

Exactly, and unfortunately there's MORE cases of abuse showing up. it's getting ridiculous.
(also hey, haven't talked to you since the G.g.t! congrats on becoming a mod.)
the police system really needs to be reformed. there's too many bad things happening with it every day for it to continue in its current state.
Abusive language and thereby creates a risk of assault
Unless they mean creates a risk of the cop committing assault :v:
It's unclear. That's why disorderly conduct is one of the most common arrests, especially during protests. If someone is doing something that is undesirable in the streets, and it isn't violating any of the other laws, disorderly conduct is generally used.
Something that outrages me too is the constant media blackout there has been related to the protests. so far I have only seen two short 30 seconds reports on CNN and nothing else.
Thats... pretty sad.
Do they even care?
Have fun getting your eye's pepper-sprayed into oblivion because you're in the same crowd as people attacking police officers.
I would make a paragraph long post on why your an idiot and flame this post, but I'd rather not get banned.
We need some full blown riots. Which is what this might possibly turn into. People will only stay peaceful for so long while you beat and pepper spray them.
The only reason you are saying this is because you expect not to get hurt in them.
How fitting the cops doing this were fat unprofessional slobs. Our police-force is a joke compared to what our European friends have.
