Nice to see that the winner rating isn't far behind the dumb rating. Maybe Facepunch is starting to wise up and realize that this so called "progressive" society is actually oppressing people who hold "traditional" values.
if your traditional values encompass systematic oppression of someone based on something they can't control you should reevaluate your life
if i was a restaurant owner i'd refuse service to any one who did this as it's not in violation of civil rights act, perfectly legal
I think we all eagerly await the day a forum full of gay nerds realizes that it's better to oppress gays than it is to oppress the religious
Ahh, that makes sense. I thought this forum was full of the classic type of nerds (fat, ugly bloke who goes all gooey around breeding age females and lives in his mothers cellar) as opposed to "gay nerds" (fat, ugly pansy who goes all gooey around [del]breeding[/del] similar aged males and lives in his two mothers cellar). It explains all this gay pandering I've seen on the forums.

Bad news buddy we don't live in the 1950s anymore.
"gay pandering"
The fuck is wrong with you
I could say the same about you lot. The post I intended to be serious was somehow hilarious, the post I intended to be humorous was taken to be serious. This forum needs a polarity reversal, you've got humor, seriousness and morality back to front.

They were both bad posts with dumb opinions that are so stupid they're funny hope its all cleared up 4 u
The fuck is wrong with you
His ignorant and antiquated worldview too entrenched behind sophistry and cognitive disson- oh, that was a rhetorical question.
Just joking guys I was trying to be stupid you're all stupid for not seeing that hurrr

being pro rights for minorities is just pandering, right! [editline]21st February 2014[/editline] tbh just report the dude and move on
tbh just report the dude and move on
But I wanna keep crackin' wise
This isn't Mormon land? And it hasn't been voted on by a single citizen, just in the house. I've seen people in Arizona protesting this bill at the capital, I don't think it represents what the people actually want. I mean I'm not too familiar with legal proceedings I'm just baffled that it has made it this far and when Arizona citizens will be able to fight it other than by protesting
I just want to point out mormons are not anti-gay. There are old rules that don't allow you to be gay and a member of the church, but we openly accept gay people as complete equals. Plus I see these old rules to be changed in the next 20 years.
move over jonathan swift, nasal_spray's in town satire so thick you can cut it with a knife. so thick that you could sell it as I Can't Believe It's Not Bigotry, cut it with your knife and spread it on your toast as a low fat alternative to butter
I just want to point out mormons are not anti-gay.
I just want to point out that they were anti-black up until it was illegal to be. :v:
I just want to point out that they were anti-black up until it was illegal to be. :v:
I'm sorry you feel that way about us.
I just want to point out that they were anti-black up until it was illegal to be. :v:
Religious people tend to be anti-something for as long as it's socially acceptable.
I'm sorry you feel that way about us.
I really don't know what to say other than for 100 years, people of African descent were not allowed to participate in temple ceremonies. And that practice in itself is completely absurd.
is it really that big of a deal? It's saying that if you own a business you have the right to deny who you choose? Why not, it's their place. Do you really want to eat or be serviced by some prejudiced asshole? At least this way you'll know who all the dicks are. but then again, being able to refuse medical treatment because someone is gay, that's some bullshit. Don't really care as much though if it's like some chicken or something.
Yeah, it's a big deal. Maybe not in the city where there's a wide variety of services to choose from, but definitely in smaller rural areas where it's entirely possible to be the only gay couple for tens of miles. What's going to happen if they can't buy food or gas? There's also the issue of tax breaks for businesses. If you're a business you're partially being propped up by the taxpayer, and gay people pay the same taxes as everyone else. Hell, because they can't get married in a lot of states, they're actually paying more taxes than everyone else.
republicans are funny.
if your traditional values encompass systematic oppressionof someone based on something they can't control you should reevaluate your life
Lmao systematic oppression? Seriously? Yeah okay this law hurts some people's feelings and one or two gay people might be turned away from some small-time stores, I don't think that really qualifies as being oppressed
Why do the intolerant think the intolerance of intolerance is the worst intolerance possible Yeah that's actually a legitimate question I'm not just playing with words

It doesn't help anyone. Plus, this law is also illegal, so. \:v:/
Why do the intolerant think the intolerance of intolerance is the worst intolerance possible Yeah that's actually a legitimate question I'm not just playing with words
i guess they see it as a double standard at their cost? since (in their minds) it's not ok for them to be intolerant to others, but it's fine for people to be intolerant towards their beliefs
Why do the intolerant think the intolerance of intolerance is the worst intolerance possible Yeah that's actually a legitimate question I'm not just playing with words
I guess they're used to being a position where they remain uncriticised and see any attack on their opinion as unfathomable.

Hopefully the feds will do something to stop this from remaining law.
"We see a growing hostility toward religion," said Josh Kredit, legal counsel for the group. wow gee i fucking wonder why
