You seem to have a vendetta against the protestors. What the fuck is your problem?
A Vendetta? What are you talking about. I say that the protesters could be wrong and I have a vendetta. Stop overreacting to every little thing.
A Vendetta? What are you talking about. I say that the protesters could be wrong and I have a vendetta. Stop overreacting to every little thing.
You've been shitting on the thread for 10 pages saying how you think the protests are pointless, etc. Go away.

Stop overreacting to every little thing.
I don't know if you work or not. But I'd be pretty pissed if a percentage of my pay check went into frivolous things that doesn't help locally. I'd rather my money went into helping schools and helping local services. I'd rather help families here than support the corporations that do everything in their power to move congress and our leaders to benefit their own financial benefits. I don't know what would be considered more patriotic or American than supporting these people and the Occupy Wall Street movement. Everyone else who thinks otherwise support a facade; a communist ideal and way of life disguised as a false democracy or capitalist society
Everyone else who thinks otherwise support a facade; a communist ideal and way of life disguised as a false democracy or capitalist society
what the fuck is this nonsense? "A communist ideal"? are you dumb?
The OWS movement needs to get common workers and older masses into it in order to garner support.
Well they seem to have the support of unions
You've been shitting on the thread for 10 pages saying how you think the protests are pointless, etc. Go away.
I haven't even posted since page 4 settle down.

I wrote it right there. Troll somewhere else, please. " I don't know if you work or not. But I'd be pretty pissed if a percentage of my pay check went into frivolous things that doesn't help locally. Stop being so paranoid. You're really doing a great job convincing me that I should support these guys! All I say is that they're possibly wrong and that I don't agree with them, and instead of giving me a sound argument, you just insult me and assume I'm trying to make you look bad. We're a republic and always have been. Democracies turn into mob rule, mob rule turns into anarchy, and anarchy turns into oligarchy. I've already said this.
what the fuck is this nonsense? "A communist ideal"? are you dumb?
pseudo intellectual
If you really think the United State of America is running a real democracy, and a fair capitalist system, you have some things to think about. Take it from a KGB Soviet defector:
and you're pretty stupid if you think the united states is anywhere near communist
So is OWS over?

Who really is trying to make someone look bad here? The Occupy Wall Street movement should be supported, otherwise we can just sit here idle while we decide not to have a say on what our leaders represent :downs: Sounds like a great future for America
Ahahaha, good. The mess that was there and fire hazards (candles in tents) was a mass manslaughter case ready to happen. Plus, you know, bunch of hippies with no end goal.
You can make your own sound judgements, we are all adults.
The Occupy Wall Street movement should be supported, otherwise we can just sit here idle while we decide not to have a say on what our leaders represent :downs:
You know, there is this thing we can do in our country, it's called voting. It's where if you like someone's stance on things, and you think they will run the country a lot better than the previous guy, you can vote said person into office. I'm not sure what you think our "leaders" represent. I'm not a big fan of how big our government is getting, but you're really getting on the edge of conspiracy theories now. You're also getting very melodramatic and blowing everything out of proportion.
Ahahaha, good. The mess that was there and fire hazards (candles in tents) was a mass manslaughter case ready to happen.
unfortunately this is true, and is why they really shouldn't be "Occupying" places. I'm all for protesting and such, but camping out in a "public" park for over a month and refusing to allow anyone in to clean it is pretty gross and is a public health hazard. At one point they were trying to bring in propane tanks...
You're the one calling me an asshole and assuming that I've been editing your quotes.
If not, my mistake. It looks like you did, sorry about that; uncalled for. You just can't sit here and say that our elected leaders and our representatives support most of our ideals. It isn't out of proportion to say that bailouts and tax breaks support the wealthy
I don't see why people are so hostile towards people who don't agree with the protests, or maybe even a small detail about the protests. I for one, hate people who try to change things by doing something that has little effect. Sitting in a park in tents and holding up signs is not going to make things change dramatically, and even just the few crimes and shananagins going on makes it all look bad. Most of the people there aren't even informed, driven, intelligent people. If they were they would have jobs and be comfortable with life, even though there is a large income gap. Surgeons and doctors make up the 1%, tax them? take away their money? They worked hard. What about CEOs? Banks? Some of them cut corners everywhere and rob other of their fare share. That's what people should be pissed about. I may be blunt but it's how I feel. I support the protests, and the people, but I don't know if it's the best course of action. ask yourself this: What do the 1% have that you don't. Super cars? Giant houses? Who cares. That stuff won't make you happy. We should be concerned about the bottom 1%, or 10%.

If they aren't, then they won't survive the next election. You see, it's not like these people are going to run the country forever. Our country is set up the way it is for a reason. The bailouts were a stupid move and I completely agree with you there, but the government had a hand in the banks collapsing, so they had to do something. And tax breaks support US and give us jobs. If you tax these companies too much they'll just move overseas. It's happening right now.
let's think for a moment, What kind of government do we really want? Communism? socialism? a democracy? Why not all three? Communistic control over corporations, socialistic human benefits, like welfare, social security, and a parliamentary system, with a congress then a prime minister?
Poor people hate rich people and rich people think poor people are annoying. Democrats hate republicans and republicans hate democrats. MW3 players hate BF3 and BF3 players hate MW3. WHAT AN AGE WE LIVE IN!
i'm trying to figure out if you understand what half the words you're using even mean
I guess he means that companies shouldn't be run by a guy sipping scotch while smoking his cigar, sitting on a pile of money, but instead by some form of a "community" that works towards distributing the wealth to the people who actually do all the work. Aka. Communism. No, not that "communism" done by Soviet countries, but a system for the greater good. If you don't get too stuck on the words, you should be able to understand, it's like everyone being one happy family that looks after each other, so everyones voice is heard and nobody has to be homeless or hungry. Right :D?
You know, there is this thing we can do in our country, it's called voting.
Which is fundamentally broken thanks to things like the electoral college and lobbying and gerrymandering and the nonelected positions at the Fed and the revolving door with Goldman and jesus are you deaf dumb and blind or what? Try something from a nonpartisan and secular organization.

Right :D?
it's important to use those words correctly because the incorrect usage of them has damaged american politics for decades what you're describing as communist is a more socialistic system where the workers own the means of production.
