Offline Mode.
(When they fix it anyway...)
You can still do it on the other platforms too.
Yeah, but the piracy numbers on PC are much higher
Yeah, but the piracy numbers on PC are much higher
Because PC gets the most shit.
At the way they keep increasing this, makes me think they have. Piracy is just going to a build up to a point till they can say "Look, our games are just being pirated on PC let's drop the platform altogether"
And then VALVe becomes a mega-corporation, monopolizing the PC gaming market.

Exactly, It's a vicious cycle.
People pirate, They tighten up DRM, Even more people pirate, Even More tighter DRM and so on...

Good.
I sense that I'm not alone when I feel like walking directly into EA's officies and slapping everyone.

And people who get annoyed at the DLC and buy it on another platform are accelerating this problem
Good.
If only they would stop using valve time.
I don't see a point in this anyway, most games will be cracked sooner or later.
All games are cracked within a month of release.
Hahahahahaha, poor dumbasses actually think their DRM reduces piracy.
I wish there was a strong consumer/developer connection. Rather than having to deal with the publishers who don't care about either.
This game will probably be the most recalled game ever as well as the most pirated thanks to DRM.
All games are cracked within a month of release.
C&C4 has already been cracked
Shame, the new Settlers game has this DRM as well, and I was going to buy it =|
I find it odd how I, as a legit customer, rely on pirates to play games these days
Assassin's Creed 2 was cracked before it even released for PC, so if to combat the first two to 4 weeks of piracy of the game's release was their excuse... what's the point in even using it at all
That's fucking stupid. What am I suppose to do now when the internet goes out and I can't even enjoy a game one singleplayer?
You keep a decent collection of old school stuff that are fun.
Example include the age of empires series, patrician 3, minesweepers, pong, paint, etc.
In other news, Activision are cutting out the middle man and has created a robot that launches fecal matter directly at fans of both types.
FUCK! and just when i started to like EA again...........
i blame Ubisoft for starting what looks like is going to become a trend anyone fancy following me over to they're HQ with a bomb?
EA turns anything it touches to shit.
And if that wasn't bad enough, now they make their shitty games even shittier with this goddamn DRM.
Thats it. I am never buying another EA product before they get that dick out of their asses and stop raping completely good game series with useless 3D-engines and bright graphics.

This comment sounds very pointless and unfunny.

It was activision first, but I am surprised about UBI
Why the fuck would they spend thousands of dollars on a protection that will be cracked in such a short moment for only a penny or two?
On a peticular related note im staring at my rapidshare account right now tempted to put a gold member payment on it.........your move EA.
You think a company that big would have noticed the massive backlash to Ubisoft's DRM?
Sucks to be them, their games are mostly shit anyway, now they won't sell a single copy.
It was activision first, but I am surprised about UBI
Does'nt surprise me that the now shittest game development company ( acti ) would be first to start this shit tbh but yes i am surprised at Ubi and i thought they had sense.......how wrong i was
Broke ma automerge! :argh:
