Wow... EA is already shit! Why did they hafto push it over the edge? [editline]01:35AM[/editline] Russian Network Buisness. The most advanced crackers/hackers in the world, been DDoSing my town's internet system for weeks now. They tracked it to Russia.
that's why noone likes r'n'b
Me, I personally think it has to do with the shareholders and people with the money behind these companies. The shareholders are freaking out because no one is buying the games because they're being pirated and cracked, so EA and Ubisoft have to find some way to appease the shareholders and keep them from backing out. So they develop this DRM as a short-term solution, knowing the games will be pirated even more as a result, but the people running the company and the shareholders who own shares will be sleep easier. That's how I think it may be.
Hey there Crysis 2 :downs:
you know valve already does this, right.
Because not everyone has a crystal ethernet line and a golden modem.
Haha, your internet sucks. When it comes to DRM, consoles win all arguments. When it comes to general gaming (outside DRM), PCs win.
you know valve already does this, right.
Except they don't.
They just fucked themselves over even more.
Wow EA, way to throw your last couple of months worth of successive customer relationship-building down the shitter.
Just when you hit rock bottom, some asshole throws you a shovel, except this time the shovel was asked for and the asshole is also the digger. :psyduck:
you know valve already does this, right.
Steam will not kick you out if you lose connection during a singleplayer game. Heck, even offline mode works fine nowadays.
Popcap

Those games are good
Ahem Popcap is a games developer not a game
Ahem Popcap is a games developer not a game
Popcap games in general poindexter.
you know valve already does this, right.

534 other :downs:'s have said this now... :fuckoff: now, there is this nifty thing called offline mode that works beyond perfect that (get this, it's amazing.) let's you play your games without web connection.:psyduck: got it?
i'd like to expand on this by stating that, if your connection is lost while playing in ONLINE mode you will NOT be kicked out of the game unless it's multiplayer in which case, you're pretty :butt: for complaining. it will even kinda fluently swap into a mild form of offline mode and back when connection is back. (:krad2:)
le sigh
EA made pretty shitty games to begin with, doesn't really concern me.
EA doesn't make games. They publish them.
