did i voice an opinion about finnish social issues? no, so there's no comparison.
and i didn't dismiss him because he's finnish, i dismissed him because it was obvious that he A, didn't know what he was talking about and B, didn't experience it either.
i'm sure there are finnish people on this forum who do understand the US's social issues because they took the time to understand it.
You did not dismiss because he was Finnish. You expected him to have a different opinion based upon the nation he was living in. You are saying that the residents of Finland act in such a way that is more favourable to your opinion, and you expected that him being from Finland he would hold that opinion.
So you are in opposition to racism, yet expect that him being Finnish he would have certain traits and beliefs. Being that you assumed that based on his race I would say that counts as racism itself.
uhm
no i expect him living in finland where the demographics are extremely homogenous to not experience what racism does to a community.
you're trying to hard to be clever but you aren't so *raspberry*

no you have it the other way around.
he stated an opinion, i said that opinion was stupid because he doesn't know what he's talking about and used several examples as evidence of such
why am i even answering this lol

Do you have sources to back up said evidence?
Do you have sources to back up said evidence?
he's from finland
Do you have sources to back up said evidence?
yeah his posts
using his posts as evidence and the fact that he lives in a circumstance that makes him extremely unlikely to have experienced racism i have concluded that he doesn't know what he's talking about and i have also concluded that love, love will tear us apart, again
why is the bedroom so cold, sobotnik?
he's from finland
No, he is clearly from the United States.
why is the bedroom so cold, sobotnik?
It may be cold, but I'm wearing a sweater.
They're (The conservatives) labeling them flash mobs because they see the internet as a threat.
A bunch of brothas rep'sentin' the hood is not a flash mob.
Can you back that up? That seems absurd.
No, he is clearly from the United States.
wait wait wait what are you talking about thisispain or the other guy
Damn TH89 must be on holiday.
uhm
no i expect him living in finland where the demographics are extremely homogenous to not experience what racism does to a community.
Well, i know what racism has caused in Finland. Now people here are overly sensitive about foreigners, that leads to them being on different level than natives. But now i am going way too offtopic. And Thisispain, i have witnessed racism up close. It was actually directed to friend of mine.
-snip what the fuck-
Well, i know what racism has caused in Finland. Now people here are overly sensitive about foreigners, that leads to them being on different level than natives.
right foreigners are kings that's why their unemployment is so high.
right foreigners are kings that's why their unemployment is so high.
Uhh, what? I never mentioned anything about unemployment. Anyway, i am out, WAY too offtopic now.
Uhh, what? I never mentioned anything about unemployment. Anyway, i am out, WAY too offtopic now.
but i did.
basically i'm doubting your claim about the race card, and saying NO NO IT'S OFFTOPIC doesn't change that's pretty fishy.
but i did.

A primary source is more trustworthy than a secondary one.
A primary source is more trustworthy than a secondary one.
if you consider him a primary source compared to other people that's your thing not mine
Could you imagine how much bigger this story would be if it was the other way round.
if you consider him a primary source compared to other people that's your thing not mine
I consider a resident of Finland to be more knowledgeable about events in Finland more than a resident of the United states.
I consider a resident of Finland to be more knowledgeable about events in Finland more than a resident of the United states.
so you're making the assumption that i didn't read up on finland and its issues with racism
don't patronize me please
so you're making the assumption that i didn't read up on finland and its issues with racism

You have not experienced it first hand however, which would make you a primary source.
You have not experienced it first hand however, which would make you a primary source.
i'm more inclined to believe people who write essays and shit on it than someone from facepunch
i'm more inclined to believe people who write essays and shit on it than someone from facepunch
Where are the essays on racism in Finland?
i have a very hard time believing that someone managed to group up 400 kids to beat up on white people
I'm guessing panic helped exaggerate the numbers. It's not uncommon for witnesses and victims to report a grossly larger number than what actually take place.
google "racism in finland" and you'll find a rich plethora of articles by finish people and people who live in finland
it might sound daft to just google it but knowledge is power
