As well, any honest statistician will tell you that you can generate almost any form of conclusion you want through simple manipulation techniques. Further more, much of these statistics are incomplete and riddled with gaps because the data for much of it has to be voluntarily submitted by local police agencies, and there is no way to prevent local police agencies, which have a record of racial profiling and discrimination, from manipulating the data before it is sent in.

So, by that very same principle any positive statistics about black people are also likely manipulated and incomplete?

Saying up to 100 black people showed up to beat up on white people is a pretty huge claim so I think it's fair to be sceptical here. I would want to see more reliable sources if the races of the two groups in the article were switched as well.

I remember a study about the concept of an interviewer planting ideas. After simulating a car accident in front of a group of people, each person was interviewed individually. At one point, they were asked "Did you see a broken taillight?" and much less than half those being interviewed said yes.
They conducted the same scenario again only this time the interviewer asked "Did you see the broken taillight?" and almost all of the witness said they had. In both cases however there had not be a broken taillight at all. So in the first case, you have memories being distorted, whereas in the second case, you have memories being planted.
What sucks is that you're damned if you fight back and damned if you don't.

I was at the fair with my brother and father in line for food when the brawl started, they pretty much just started attacking randomly and eventually more and more people joined in.
A police friend of ours also told us that when they took some of them in for questioning they kept making an inside joke that it was all organized on "black" berries
