ISIS is not the only terrorist organization.
Not relevant to the point
There are reports that ISIS is working with mexican cartels and if this turns out to be a result of that, it's going to be war on possibily 2 fronts
Let it happen. Some of the shit the cartels have pulled make ISIS look friendly in comparison. They've had it a long time coming.
There are reports that ISIS is working with mexican cartels and if this turns out to be a result of that, it's going to be war on possibily 2 fronts
The cartels would not shoot up a random hospital in the US. No cartel would gain anything from that
Why are people hoping it's a certain group or not wtf
both are equally bad
Some US citizens = we have deep shit in here and we need to address the mental and social well being of citizens better and why they choose to turn on fellow citizens
ISIS = we have a large, organized extremist group who is capaple of brainwashing and coordinated attacks from overseas
Who gives a rat ass what group gets generalized, we need to stop the problem no matter what
Because if it's right wing extremists they will be brushed off as a few nutters doing awful things and America can pat itself on the back and rest easy once they're captured or killed. If it's Muslims, then it will turn into yet another gigantic anti-Islamic shitstorm wherein we further demonize a massive community of everyday folks based on the fact that they happen to share a general religious background and live in pointless fear that the family down the block who wears traditional Islamic clothing are secretly sleeper cells. It will essentially give further fuel to the Trump crowd to call for Muslim concentration camps, like they've literally been fucking doing.

Turns out most likely wrong unless Judical Watch is reliable.

I dont have sources, but the shit I heard going on between them is ISIS members near the boarders working with cartels mostly for weapons. Basically they are business partners, and not working for the same goals obviously. Dont think ISIS has much to do with drug trade involving the cartels, and I dont see why the cartels would want them involved in it when they already have wraps on it.
Honestly, they probably only work together for the sole purpose of money and weapons, the second money isnt a thing the cartels really have no reason at all to help ISIS. The cartels also have no reason to commit any acts of terrorism in the USA at all. If the cartels started causing problems like that in the USA the US would fuck them up pretty fast in the country. They already actively work with cartel members anyways for information on them.

I doubt that ISIS has ties with the cartels. Why would ISIS go to them for weapons when there are thousands of regional sources they could go to?
14 dead, 14 wounded as per KTLA's reporting.
Holy fuck.
[editline]2nd December 2015[/editline]
Did these bastards get away? Because if they did, they got a lot of desert to hide in.
Desert I live in.

I thought it was 20 wounded, and yes so far they got away.
Holy shit, this is really bad. It's never multiple shooters like ever.
I remember there being two at Columbine.
I thought it was 20 wounded, and yes so far they got away.
I'm going off of KTLA playing on my TV right now. 14 dead, 14 wounded.
Why are people hoping it's a certain group or not wtf

No. It is absolutely relevant because if this was some odd, convoluted and fucked up distraction for a bank robbery then that is leagues apart from a link to Islamic-flavored terrorism; a movement that's half a century old, global, and has affected every single human on this planet in some way. Yeah we need to stop people from dying in general but it sure would be fucking grand if the entire country wasn't incited to racial and religious violence in the meantime.
I mean correct me if I'm wrong, but that's something you'd like to avoid too.

It's an unfounded theory because if such cooperation were known or even implied, it would strengthen the case for more border security, which would very much negatively impact the cartels. If they are working with ISIS, they're likely not doing so knowingly.
Just fucking nuke this world to pieces already. Tired of this shit.
Huh so this is why my school was on lockdown.
I was like right near there
BBC is reporting the shooting taking place at a center for disabled people, but OP says it happened at a golf course?
This is bringing back bad memories of the mass shooting that happened next to my house 7 years ago

Across the st. from a golf course.

The backwards thinking involved in a lot of politics right now legit scares the living shit out of me. People don't seem to understand the ramifications these attacks can have, especially if ISIS takes credit for this despite whether it was them or not. They don't understand that by further alienating muslim people and not accepting them on the grounds of "all muslims = terrorists" only furthers their anger and they end up having nowhere else to turn.
I'm already reading "more guns could have stopped this" all over my Facebook feed. Cause those disabled people would have easily taken down 3 gunmen with assault rifles. It hurts to read this shit.
We're worried if its ISIS or not because the retaliation that will happen if it was them will be absolutely massive

I don't know how it's even possible to respond worse than we did to 9/11

It was a LITTLE different though, 20-150 deaths from these mass shootings to 3000+ deaths
It was a LITTLE different though, 20-150 deaths from these mass shootings to 3000+ deaths
Nobody said anything about anywhere near 150 dead.

I think he was talking about the paris attacks with that number.
Part of me thinks it couldve been a workplace dispute... but the fac that there were three shooters would make that unlikely. I would think that ISIS would go after a far more visible target so that would probably exclude them from the potential suspects

I doubt it was a workplace dispute. Especially because they targeted potentially disabled people at a party, that didn't even work there.

Even more reason as to why it's ridiculous to say the retaliation for 20 people getting shot will be worse than 9/11's aftermath. There'll be a debate about guns that bears no fruit, Obama will address the nation and everything will be back to normal in a week.

I was agreeing with more reasons, because people love to disagree.

The gun debate is bullshit. They used guns already not legal in Cali, so more laws obviously don't help (back to my point about criminals not following laws so gun bans are useless)
