Individual armed with a rifle & wearing camo pants spotted.
Oh shit it's about to get hot.
Even more reason as to why it's ridiculous to say the retaliation for 20 people getting shot will be worse than 9/11's aftermath. There'll be a debate about guns that bears no fruit, Obama will address the nation and everything will be back to normal in a week.
Its not the deaths. Its the fact that a confirmed ISIS attack in the US would have severe implications for American society regardless of the death toll

Located where?
I just can't see how people in the US still think gun control isn't necessary. I mean, I don't even get why you'd want to own or carry a gun, but fair enough, a lot of people want to so banning guns probably isn't the answer. But surely some measures can be taken?
Sounds like they got a pursuit in-progress.

I've never been against owning a gun in all honesty. I've considered getting one to keep in my dresser in case the need arises, but I don't get why people love carrying them around in public and get hard at the idea of killing people with it.
The thing that really bothers me is the "more guns" argument. If a fire is burning a forest down, you don't make a much larger fire around that first fire, do you? It makes no sense, there's more collateral damage than anything.
Wow.. Just got home to this news. Sucks how constant mass shootings are becoming.

A lot of people have guns for many reasons. Hunting, protection, just being a collector.
Concealed Carry, can be a good thing, it could save lives. It probably has, but we don't see that news.
I do think we need stricter gun control. But, then we would need to improve on other things such as background checks, mental health, etc.
Banning guns isn't an option, even if people want it to be. There are too many guns out there, and the criminals will find other means of killing/getting a gun.
I hope they don't head down to Vista.
They're in pursuit of a black SUV now.

I know what you're saying and I don't mean to be nit-picky but that's actually a thing they do to fight forest fires.

I've always felt like arming the civilians even more would be a bad thing. We're already kneejerk enough about everything as it is, we will have more "civilian justice fighters" running around and killing anyone in a trench coat because they look suspicious.
Not to mention the showers of bullets flying around the area because all of the sudden 12 people have a gun instead of just 2 people. There's more crossfire involved, more potential for even more innocent civilians to get hurt, regardless if that's the intention or not in the eyes of the protector.
All I'm saying is that it would be an extremely credible solution if not everyone that's for gun control has a hard on about using their guns. Protect yourself at all costs, but don't go around flashing your gun in public and giving people looks cause you suddenly feel like you're invincible.

The black van is shooting at the pursuing police vehicles
KTLA just got on the SUV story. They're just figuring out things. They said the pursuit was terminated.
I heard a report that SWAT where deployed to a location in Pasadena. Can anyone confirm that?

You see the news if you look for it. It's reported.

The catch being that the people fighting the fire have trained for years and are constantly monitoring that fire to make sure things don't go where they shouldn't. But alas, I had no idea backburning was a thing, so thank you for the info.
Black GMC Yukon XL coincides with the reports of dark colored SUV fleeing from the original shooting scene.
They are requesting Medical aid and a Bearcat? on the radio

I honestly think the dudes who strap on a rifle and carry it around in public are assholes.

Exactly. It's like those punky teenagers who walk around, throwing their fists in everyones' faces because they're out looking for an excuse to beat the ever living shit out of someone for no reason.
Wooooow, dead body just shown on ABC news
Suspect down
Wow KTLA is just talking like idiots, what happened?
Making deliveries a few miles from the scene and just saw a shit ton of cop cars taking off
