Possible shooting at Patton Hospital, a detention center for people with mental disabilities who've committed crimes. Man, I wonder if this is actually an attack specifically at disabled people. I know at least a couple people who work there.

They don't even know the motives yet, apparently it was a group of armed people in a SUV. So it does not sound like your run of the mill lone-gunman attack.

In 2012 a man shot 20 young children to death in a school with a legal semiautomatic rifle and we as a nation were too cowed into submission by the gun lobby to enact any meaningful reform. They've won and this is the future they've built for us. I hope everyone is happy.

Tons of people on my facebook feed are reporting that they're not allowed to leave their place of work because of the shooting. Local schools are also on lockdown.
