The point of that argument is that you're pointlessly and frankly unlawfully confiscating responsibly owned property from millions of people who will never use it to pose a threat for the sake of keeping such items out of the hands of the exceedingly small amount of people who will - and it won't even work.
I've never said we should take away all the guns or whatever you are suggesting. Please don't argue against something I haven't said.
You know what, I really think you are just here to cause shit.
I disagree but okay.
shots heard at a north sterling target
shots heard at a north sterling target
fucking hell 13:06 2380 North Sterling Target Shopping center - shots heard
The point of that argument is that you're pointlessly and frankly unlawfully confiscating responsibly owned property from millions of people who will never use it to pose a threat for the sake of keeping such items out of the hands of the exceedingly small amount of people who will
Yep. Don't see a problem here. Let's start tomorrow.
"San Bernardino center was hosting event when more than one gunman burst into room and began firing" according to a police spokeswoman:"
What event was being hosted?
State regulations are meaningless because all someone has to do is drive a weapon across from an adjacent state, and private resale from someone else who has done that makes even doing that yourself unnecessary. We need national gun reform.
So what would be your suggestions for federal reform?
Yep. Don't see a problem here. Let's start tomorrow.
unrealistic point of view [editline]2nd December 2015[/editline] 4 EOD teams heading into the south building, south building of which complex i do not know
Of course I'm afraid of guns you clown, that's the entire problem. I'm afraid enough of being murdered by a random stranger that I desire to push a political agenda that will decrease the likelihood of that shit from happening. This is how reality works.
If you actually live in fear of being shot, how do you function? Hundreds of things more likely to kill you. It's not worth your time to be afraid of being murdered. It makes you sound like those people that avoid the ghetto because those no-good hoodlums are absolutely going to harm you.
Department of Homeland Security is circling the scene via airplane
Police are reporting that the suspects were armed with "AK-47 style" weapons.
remember
What event was being hosted?
some sort of christmas celebration.
Yep. Don't see a problem here. Let's start tomorrow.
You realise a nationwide confiscation would never work right?
remember
cops are reporting this, not reporters
What event was being hosted?
Said it was a Christmas party and awards ceremony some company was holding. Wonder if they're former employees.

I think that this is absolutely the place to discuss gun laws and other factors, but only after we know that it is appropriate to do so. For all we know, these guns may have been acquired illegally and it wouldn't have mattered what measures we could've put into place. Im as anti-gun as they come but I'd prefer to wait for a complete picture of the incident before we argue about the individual aspects of it.
Yep. Don't see a problem here. Let's start tomorrow.
I'd really like to see you or Lambeth propose actual measures since all I've ever seen either of you do is shitpost and mock gun owners while claiming you aren't pro-ban. I've suggested some reformative efforts in other threads that could work to reduce the amount of guns in circulation among criminals over time without severely affecting lawful gun owners - which are usually ignored outright by antis. What would you do if you could write a bill guaranteed to pass Congress?
Said it was a Christmas party and awards ceremony some company was holding.
i believe that took place yesterday, according to this http://www.nbcnews.com/news/us-news/san-bernardino-shooting-what-inland-regional-center-n473016
Possible camouflaged subject with headset at ROBERT'S ELEMENTARY (UPDATE)
Fucking christ....
camouflaged suspect wearing headset spotted near Robert's Elementary
Witness states middle eastern man with beard and camo was a potential shooter.
Fuck, please not another elementary school shooting. Please no...

It makes you sound like those people that avoid the ghetto because those no-good hoodlums are absolutely going to harm you.
The chance of getting hit by a falling tree is a fact of life. The chance of getting murdered from a great distance and with great ease by any private citizen who desires to do so thanks to the empowerment of an industry which serves no other express purpose than to enable them to quickly and easily kill their fellow human beings should not be a fact of life, IMHO. Cars, kitchen knives, and air conditioning units hanging out of windows all have a place in a functional society. Semiautomatic weapons do not.
The media feeding frenzy is at full swing. At this point all we can do is standby for the hundreds of unconfirmed reports to be weeded out. Everybody and their grandma is reporting every unsubstantiated rumor that crosses their desks right now. There's simply no telling what will turn out to be true or not.
Domestic terrorism or terrorism?

Despite the per capita rate of firearms in the US your chances of death by gunshot are incredibly small and halved when you take out accidents and suicide
Like regardless of how dangerous our gun culture is and how much I'd love to be on the same level as other developed nations none of that fucking matters if this was a well organized terror attack that would've been carried out regardless. Save the debate for until we understand exactly what happened here, what factors went into it happening, and who or what caused it to happen.
What event was being hosted?
That could be an important detail, I, too, am curious.
Suspects apparently removed and dumped the black 'spec ops' outfits in a bridge. They could be anyone right now, it's a shitty time to be in San Bernandino right now.
