Weren't reps and dems swapped back then?
Sort of. The Republicans were considered the Liberals at that time, and were up until around the late 20's or early 30's.
9/11 was nothing more than an excuse to invade Afghanistan, the American government has planned it for quite a while. The only purpose of the war was to get oil,and Bush permitted it. He's nothing more than a war criminal and a pathetic excuse for human being.
9/11 was an inside job holocaust never happened obama is a shape shifting lizard from Andromeda rate zing if you play minecraft Like I agree the war was bullshit, I think it could have been an excuse at least part way, but for gods sakes, you're looking at it from literally one side.
this thread sure got trolled easily

AJisAwesome15 he's a republican, he obviously deserves to die right
I see what you did there.
this pun is underrated.
America wanted to construct an oil pipeline in Afghanistan in 1998 which wouldn't have been possible if Us wouldn't have waged the war and replaced the old government with a Us friendly one.

9/11 was nothing more than an excuse to invade Afghanistan, the American government has planned it for quite a while. [editline]27th December 2012[/editline] Especially since...if memory serves...uhhh. Did we not go to Iraq first?
Yeah no one will cry because he started a pointless gulf war.
Yeah no one will cry because he started a pointless gulf war.
Im sure nobody will care when you die too.
Yeah no one will cry because he started a pointless gulf war.
On August 1, 1990, Iraq, led by Saddam Hussein, invaded its oil-rich neighbor to the south, Kuwait. Yeah totally Bush's fault
Oh, so since he's a horrible president, he doesn't matter and his feelings about his father's possible death don't mean shit? What the fuck is wrong with you?
There are roughly 180,000+ dead Iraqis that can be attributed between both of the George Bush presidencies. If being responsible for almost 200,000 dead people isn't enough to make you deserving of complete and utter contempt then I don't know what is. It's bitter, ignorant and terrible people like George Bush Sr and Jr. that allow perpetual human suffering to continue on a daily basis. They are responsible for a truly universal magnitude of lost life and miserable human suffering. It's just disgusting that being "not that bad of a president" entails that you were only responsible for less than a million dead people, that's how fucking dissident the standards are for being the leader of the most powerful country in the world. With that said I can't bring myself to hate George Bush Jr or Sr on a personal level, but you need to expect such hatred when you lead a recklessly irresponsible and highly cynical presidency. In every sense these two people are directly responsible for the destruction of countless human lives and I wouldn't blame anybody for sharing a passionate hatred of them on a personal level. World polices isn't a game, these two have attributed almost nothing good to the world and have really only left scars that better presidents will eventually need to mend.

Wait shit what's the opposite of profit?
I saw him at a House Of Pies once. No wonder he's in a hospital.

Get real.
I saw him at a House Of Pies once. No wonder he's in a hospital.
What's he like. I met George Bush Jr. once, he's a pretty nice guy.
Yeah 9/11 was a total conspiracy!!! 9/11 = INSIDE JOB, WAKE UP AMERICA!!! Just no, do not even start this because the so called "conspiracies" have been proven bullshit.
I didn't say it was an inside job, just a good excuse to invade Afghanistan. [editline]28th December 2012[/editline]
There's more oil in Canada than there is Afghanistan, dum dum.
It has/had a lot of untapped energy and mineral resources so oil obviously wasn't the only reason Besides America and Canada both benefit from their cooperation,to wage a war against one another would be foolish.

LOOK GUYS, THESE PARTISAN TERRORISTS JUST DESTROYED THE WORLD TRADE CENTER! LOOKS LIKE ONLY AMERICA IS GOING IN TO THE MIDDLE EAST! the rest of the world got involved, too. Primarily because it was the WORLD Trade Center, not the United States Trade Center. And even if the terrorists attacked some other country, we would get involved. We're UN's fucking world police. Stop generalizing soldiers and get back to your protests and John Lennon.
Why the fuck are we discussing the number of Iraqi casualties in a topic about George Bush Sr? You mean the guy who: - Sent forces into the Middle East to liberate Kuwait and support Saudi Arabia with a multi-national coalition backing him as well as U.N. Support - Had the opportunity to launch a full-fledged invasion of Iraq and chose not to do so Yeah, sounds like a true war criminal. The blood of all those dead Iraqis are truly on his hands. Unless, of course, you want to argue that more deaths are attributed to him because he had the opportunity to topple Saddam and failed to do so, which is somewhat fair, but then I would also like to hear you tell us how much you support the 2003 invasion to topple Saddam and the aftermath of that, as it's exactly what would have happened had the U.S. toppled Saddam back in the 90s.
There's more oil in Canada than there is Afghanistan, dum dum.
There is? I think we all know what's coming next.
Man, I hope he gets better. He and Bill Clinton are best buds, they always go on fundraisers together and do tons of helpful work for needy people.
