So far they have only said they won't stone her to death. She is still in jail and nobody has overturned her death sentence.
I assumed he had information to support his claim that her death sentence was totally overturned.
Well, I'm happy if she's actually freed from her death sentence. On the other hand, dozens die from other charges - one person isn't really enough.

Can't afford? There are a thousand and one more humane ways to kill a human with virtually zero cost.
Even a hanging is less painful.
Frankly just about anything other than a firing squad is cruel or unusual. With the exception of certain drug induced deaths. (Though US lethal injection is NOT HOW YOU DO IT. Lethal injection in the United States is FUCKED UP.)
Justice shouldn't be about revenge. If the law is going to kill someone, then it should be as cold and impersonal as possible. If you are going to have the death penalty at all (And you shouldn't. The only exceptions being for treason and corrupt politicians.) then it should be used only when the person is simply deemed to be too dangerous to society to be left alive.

What I think we should so is first work our way up with Iran. It'll take awhile to get them to be humane (you're dealing with a country who thinks women should be killed for showing their face in public), but we need to start at the punishments. Go from stoning to a firing squad or hanging, relatively painless and inexpensive ways of execution. Then start to reform human rights in Iran.

All this when we could just kill them with the damn knockout juice (sodium thiopental). Or morphine. Or about a million other chemicals which result in more pleasant deaths.

It's not really considered biasness because it's not some issue or something like that, that people can have opinions about and discuss and their opinions may be biased because of some reason, it's just something that happened to me personally.
