Hey, here's some BREAKING NEWS. A console version doesn't determine whether a game is buggy, difficult to play, or neglected, it's the developer. For instance, Call of Duty 2, nothing but a wonderful game. Suddenly we ignore the fact that it was co-developed with consoles in mind because it doesn't live up to our ideal that PC gaming somehow deserves something?
I've played PC games ever since my mum bought me a i386 clone. Perhaps I've become grown up, but I don't understand why this dumb bullshit pollutes threads.

I don't see why a game being PC exclusive could make anyone happy. I think it's unfair for the console players with shitty PC's that will not be able to play the game.

but then they have to dumb it down, and most of the time that gets carried over to the PC version. DeusEx started on the PC and is viewed as one of the greatest if not the greatest PC game of all time.

This is the main argument to keep it exclusive. I'm sure they said it would be on consoles too. They did state in a forum post that the third person cover is optional and you can still use conventional first person cover. Their choice of regenerating health is actually a smart one. They stated that players hated scavenging for health packs before progressing. Hopefully it will be a slow regen and not the stuff we're used to in COD etc.
The problem: they port games from consoles to PCs. I think that they should port it to consoles, if they plan to.
I may actually buy if the reviews are favourable.
I miss the good ol' days of searching for secret caches of medpacks and goodies.
