i can't even comprehend that there's like over 20 countries to begin with
I doubt this'll make as much of a difference as it seems to Americans / Brits etc. cause a lot of the world has slow and/or metered internet connections
Services like this spreading could lead to foreign ISPs expanding infrastructure to keep up with demand, as now people have more reasons to have this. This could mean more jobs and better internet globally.
does this mean I will get more koren horror movies old boy was bad a ss
Is there a list that shows their catalog?
You can use a VPN to access all of Netflix countries. I always watch US/UK netflix since they have better content than Sweden.
US and UK netflix own tbh, my xbox is permanently hooked to US netflix and I use my Mac for either countires shows
finally, Netflix And Chill anywhere except in communist states
I like their foreign films, but I think they're greatly lacking in old HK cinema.
I, too, would like to see Riki-Oh on there someday
Assuming we're past dialup tech, upgrading a wireless tower is a hell of a lot more complicated and expensive than wired connections.
Somehow I doubt that. Upgrading an existing copper network to fibre probably costs a shit ton compared to just laying a single line to a new/old mobile tower or upgrading its equipment. Anyway, most people are probably doubtful on here about just how much the internet will change over the next few years--a good comparison point is how quickly regular broadband overtook dial-up/ISDN. Porn provided a great reason for people to upgrade. Now streaming video will provide another reason.
When companies officially go to Malaysia and start accepting myr they usually do it much cheaper here. Like how steam games here are about 40% cheaper than US Standard and Spotify is RM9.99 compared to $9.99. However netflix decided to keep their prices straight. Premium here is Rm51 which is equivalent to $11.59, compared to US's $11.99. Well at least it's still reasonably priced.
I'd love to get a Netflix subscription but aren't most movies region locked?
I can finally watch Narcos, yes!
You can try this, https://www.smartflix.io/ to get all the gold in one pot.
Doesn't that count as piracy?
Doesn't that count as piracy?
TBH I paid for netflix for about a year (watched via vps); then they decided they didn't want foreign customers. Lets just say I download my legal linux isos using other methods now and netflix and the MPAA can go fuck themselves.
Seriously why pay for Netflix? There are streaming sites online that are free that usually have more content than Netflix and there is piratebay and others for downloading. Netflix usually takes ages to add anything new while illegal streaming sites gets them soon after they show on cinema.
You can try this, https://www.smartflix.io/ to get all the gold in one pot.
tried it out and now i can watch plenty of region locked cartoon shows like Totally Spies, or even Guy Fieri
Maybe they should focus on letting us non-americans actually get content on Netflix before they focus on shipping it broader. Netflix is pretty useless here because it never has the movie you want to see, making you pirate it anyways.
Hmm, I've heard/noticed americans mentioning that they don't have something on netflix that some country in europe has.
Fucking finally. It's kinda expensive for now but I plan on getting it when I have the money
Wow no North Korea? Don't they care?
I'd love to get a Netflix subscription but aren't most movies region locked?
It depends. Netflix Canada, for example, has a higher proportion of bigger name movies while suffering from slightly less selection in TV shows, at least American ones. Every Netflix I've seen so far does have a decent selection of television and movies from their own country, though. UK Netflix seemed to have a lot of Vinnie Jones movies and the like.
However netflix decided to keep their prices straight. Premium here is Rm51 which is equivalent to $11.59, compared to US's $11.99.
Netflix premium? never heard of that i pay like $7 a month for mine, 2 screens
Netflix premium? never heard of that i pay like $7 a month for mine, 2 screens
there's HD version and non-HD version
So anyone else in Estonia having problems? If i try to use Paypal or my Debit it just gives a very vague error.

This will literally kill TV in here once people find out about it. Pretty much everyone is scrambling to abandon the main channels after they've been riddled with soap operas, game shows, and Police Academy reruns. Cable's been giving a very bad or a very limited service, too.
Well guess netflix on my end right now is super fucked. Even though my dad signed up just fine.
Well guess netflix on my end right now is super fucked. Even though my dad signed up just fine.
Might be your payment method? I'm assuming your father used a different card for subscribing to Netflix? Something that is perhaps more universally accepted.
it doesn't matter that it came to lebanon because Internet is shit here.
As cool as this is, I can't really watch Netflix because internet in Lebanon is shit.
