When 9/11 happened, our generation was in 2->5 grade, or just old enough to remember it. That was 11 years ago. Everyone who is in the 8 grade now (apx. 13 y/o) would have been [B]3[/B] when it happened. No recollection of events. No image memory of people jumping from high-rise buildings, two planes hitting the towers, and the start of the now-dwindling war on terror. Im not saying that a significant amount people [I]wont[/I] know about it; but just like the titanic, many wont. 9/11 didnt happen in their generation. 9/11 barely happened in our generation. Their lucky because it was a national event and it is and will be something to remember for many years to come.
