Maybe that's why I got Darkness 2 for £19.99?
Picked up a PSP for £30 today.
That's kind of tempting actually. I might pop into the local GAME stores around town tomorrow and see what's left. Probably a fair bit, even for a city their stores are dead most of the time.
I really hope GAME doesn't shut entirely, the replacements can only be worse seeing as most publishers don't seem to enjoy working with smaller stores.
gonna head in tomorrow and see if i can buy a ps3 and some MS points for super cheap.
Don't worry guys, if Game shuts down, we've always got:

Tomorrow, I go to game!
Went into my local Game and asked about the Microsoft Points. Had no idea what I was talking about.
I just checked their website. None of their PC games are cheaper than what Amazon has them. I am quite disappointed since I don't play console games.

They sell preowned games quite cheap, mainly because they give you fuck all for them and make no effort to check if they work or even look relatively undamaged.
Not sure if this is actually in the sale, but I'm probably gonna get this.

http://www.musiciansfriend.com/ They're having one of those too.
They don't specialise in games though, so that's hardly a fair comparison.
It is when they are on the verge of collapse without any feasible alternative.
It'd probably be better to just wait until the next steam sale unless you want to buy shirts for dirt cheap.
For fuck sake, in the US on holiday and this happens. I would of bought a PS3 for those prices.
Found alone in the dark for £1.98
Fuck, man. I wish it were Gamestop/EB games, I'd love to nab a PS3 for dirt cheap

So I decided to go down to the GAME store in Sutton, and didn't really find any worthwhile deals for PC. Assassin's Creed Revelations was about £20, but I didn't really have that much in my pocket to burn.
Glad I didn't, since it seems to be £15 on the site. Probably not gonna splash out anyway, though; make use of my current stuff.
PC prices are the exact same, bunch of crap. They are still stocking an MMO for £20 which is now Free to Play lmao.

Exactly the same here on the other side of the world too. I hope when they go under the Australian stores all close up too; they are a genuinely shit retailer.

A shop like Game, does not simply go under without serious ramifications for our countries economey.
Wishing any shop to go under, even if you don't like them, is just stupidly ignorant.
and no i don't buy from game.
I went to GAME today and I saw no such sales, what the hell is going on did I miss them?
