I'm guessing the people defending GAME doesn't know what they have done, why do you think steam can't release games at the same time as the rest of the world in the EU? GAME.
I got a copy of Metroid Prime: Corruption for around one pound :v:
I went to GAME today and I saw no such sales, what the hell is going on did I miss them?
Same, there were some price drops but nothing major. Shame the PS3 for £99 seems a bit BS, the website has it for that price but no instore. Guess it was just an error.
I got a DSi, 2 Pokemon games, a N7 zip thing, Batman Arkham City comic and a Space Marine shirt.
Sales are crap unless you have a console or hand held you want to buy for a lower price, or buy games for a console at a lower price. But as I said above they have lots of random shit like Saints Row The Third money clips and such.
Went to my local store hoping to find really cheap MS points and was disappointed, was packed as hell though and half of the good games had already been swiped.

There was about 3 left for £99 in the GAME Westfield near me.
Got;LA noire, Bioshock 2, Vanquish, Saints row 3, dead rising 2, mafia 2 and splinter cell.
All for xbox, but definately worth more than £40. Thank god I got paid this friday.

So the fire sales stuff was regional I assume
been in today, 99% of all the stuff on sale was either pre-owned multiplayer games ( ie useless ) or hardware that was still a rip off at the price they were selling it at ( they dropped turtle beach headsets by a fiver ) typical ripoff prices still.
Out of stock on the website, which is a shame, I would of bought it, Still need to play Uncharted 3 :(
The out of stock thing is bullshit, I went into my game store and casually asked about the PSPs being £35 (and out of stock on their website) and walked out with a PSP for £30. Just got to ask them and have a little luck!

You must be horribly late then, when I went in most games were at incredibly cheap prices (£18 for battlefield 3), and the only stuff that wasn't reduced was new games (presumably because they can send those back/sell to other game stores)
quite a few new games are coming out at £29.99 - £35. When I went in to my local store the only game that was £40 was CoD: MW3, MW2 was still like £22. Hell even a case-less CoD3 was £8
Well, I've got a free period tomorrow, and the GAME is within my college. I'll see properly what they got. Some cheaper DS games is probably all I can hope for, other than random stuff.
