I know I'm late, but I absolutely love how the threshold is 5000, but the Mary Jane petition is at 24k.

This is exactly what it's for. Whether its for some hot button issue or something silly. It's suppose to let the people that don't have a voice have at least somewhat of a voice.

The Wheat Penny, Silver Dollar, Barley Dime, and Buffalo Nickel are all still valid currency. I have smoked a pretty good chunk of weed and never once did something that would hurt me in anyway, shape, or form. Plus weed does not make you go retarded like alcohol might. You can still function but it really depends on how long you have been smoking. First timers might feel as if they can't control themselves but that is because they are making them selves think that they can't. Hell you can drive while high and not be that greatly effected.

Like the guy in DD who quit smoking because he realized that he started stealing just so he could have the money to smoke. At least he realized the wrong in what he was doing and quit for good.
