not really, it's just the cold makes people's blood vessels constrict and all that. And around chinese new year is when you're visiting family, so you're closer to towns where there are a lot of elderly, who are more at risk.

This kind of reminds me of when I went gift-shopping for my one of my friends a couple of weeks ago. He only has two real interests in life: LoL and meth. I sure as hell wasn't gonna buy him mana potions or whatever and I understand purchasing meth is illegal, so I picked up some flu meds from the pharmacy and tried to cook some up myself.
It was going alright, I think, but I had to make a brief trip to the store because a mouse got into the bag of pasta I was gonna cook for dinner. While I was away, the mouse and my cat got into the meth. The mouse was dead. I locked the cat up in my bedroom and now I sleep on the couch.
