Zombie Bowl-o-rama, the most terrifying game ever created.
Zombie Bowl-o-rama, the most terrifying game ever created.
Hey now, that game is fun
I bought Spelunky yesterday full price after waiting months for a sale, fuck
Is Alone in the Dark worth it? I played the demo a long time ago, and I've wanted to at least give it a shot. For 5$ it doesn't seem like things can go wrong, but if it's just horrible, then I won't bother.
http://store.steampowered.com/sub/27275/ Is steam broke or something? Price of individual games: £14.21 Bundle cost: £54.97
TIME FOR SPOOKY DEALS Games on sale: Also, Typing of the Dead: Overkill was just released on Steam for 50% off on PC for the first time. And Alone in the Dark was rereleased for Steam as well with The New Nightmare for 50% off.
Oh.
If you want to play the game, then buy Call of Duty: World at War or Black Ops 1. Much better zombie game.
I tend to like shitty games, I liked fable 3 as well. Sue me
Anyone who plans to buy Deadlight should be cautious. It's a good game but the controls are pretty shitty.
You should buy Natural Selection 2. It's a fun game and it's on sale
Anyone who plans to buy Deadlight should be cautious. It's a good game but the controls are pretty shitty.
Once you get over the shitty controls its actually a really nice game. Abit short though.
OK facepunch what games do I buy?
OK facepunch what games do I buy?
Get 'Don't Starve'
I'll trade 3 copies of Bad Rats for the Painkiller Complete pack please
Got Typing of the Dead: I recommend getting. -Vampire the Masquerade with the fan patches is amazingly good. I hope almost everyone on Facepunch knows this by now. -Atom Zombie Smasher is a ton of fun for $2 asking price -Dead Rising 2. Opt in to get the complete pack that comes with Off the Record. -F.E.A.R for $2.49 is fantastic. I can't speak for the sequels though, so I'd save the 8 bucks and just get the first title. All older shit you probably own, but good nonetheless.
OK facepunch what games do I buy?
I hear Spelunky is pretty good.
I refuse to buy stuff in the Steam sales because I still have games I bought in 2010 that I've never even looked at But then I saw Alone In The Dark and I really fucking loved it when it came out in 2008. I know it's not going to be as good as I remember and I'll see all the flaws, but I bought it anyway. I also remember playing the original/old Typing Of The Dead as well, so I might pick that new one up as well.
Holy shit, I didn't know I Have No Mouth and I Must Scream was up here. Going to buy that for sure. Also, do some games seem out of place? The Next Big Thing is a political game, and hardly seems very Halloween/horror themed.

Picked up a bunch of stuff already and might get more. Some good stuff on there.
Is Alone in the Dark even worth buying?
I am just going to call November my spooky games month because of all these games I just bought [editline]29th October 2013[/editline]
Is Alone in the Dark even worth buying?
Alone in the Dark reboot is shit, like terrible. The other one from the Dreamcast I heard is a really shitty port with the awful MIDI music instead of the real music, so I would just emulate or get it on the dreamcast or something. And even then from the looks of it, it's a mediocre Resident Evil clone. Which I guess isn't a bad thing anymore since we need more of those.
It has nothing to do with Halloween at all, but Fallout: New Vegas is on sale now for as low as $2,50 , and it is five bucks with all the Expansion Packs/ DLC included. If you didn't have it yet, go get it. 5 bucks is an absolute steal for a game of that size.
Yesss Akaneiro Demon Hunters get
I also highly recommend The Darkness 2 for that cheap, one of the most fun FPS games I have played in a long time with a really interesting and weird as fuck story. I just wish The Darkness 1 was on steam.
The Darkness 1 is a console only release (pointing this out for those who don't know), which is pretty enjoyable due to how unique it is. It is a very underlooked game, as are most shooters published by 2K. Today is a good day.
Should I buy Dead Rising 2: Off the Record even though it still has GFWL? [sp]And maybe Biohazard games to co-op with a friend?[/sp]
The Wolf Among Us, it's a very, very similar format to Walking Dead so if you are a fan of more story driven games, I highly recommend it. And of course, Walking Dead. Also is Deadlight any good?
I've never played any of the recent Fallout games. Should I get Fallout 3 or New Vegas?
Is Alone in the Dark even worth buying?
One of the most hilariously bad games I've ever played. I had it on wii, those driving sequences with motion controls were too funny
